Belt
Abstract
In the belt according to the present invention, the whole or a part of a belt body is formed from a thermoplastic resin composition (C) comprising a thermoplastic resin W and a modified ethylene copolymer (B) dispersed and contained. therein. The modified ethylene copolymer (B) is preferably a copolymer, modified with an unsaturated carboxylic acid or a derivative thereof, of ethylene with at least one monomer component selected from (i) olefin components except for ethylene, (ii) diene components and (iii) ester components having an ethylenically unsaturated group. The belt according to the present invention hardly causes abrasion, damage, cracks, breakage and the like on the belt body and is remarkably excellent in durability, even if the belt is used at a high load for a long time.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . A belt, excluding toothed belts, being formed from thermoplastic elastomer alloy comprising thermoplastic polyurethane (A11) and a modified ethylene-propylene-diene copolymerized rubber (B1), wherein a weight proportion [(B1)/(A11)] of the modified ethylene-propylene-diene copolymerized rubber (B1) to the thermoplastic polyurethane (A11) is 0.1/99.9 to 30/70.
2 . The belt according to claim 1 , wherein the modified ethylene-propylene-diene copolymerized rubber (B1) is an ethylene-propylene-diene copolymer modified with maleic anhydride.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
