Claims
Abstract
A gyroscopic roll stabilizing device for a marine vehicle includes a base communicating with a gyroscopic component which includes a rotor rotatable about an axis, a motor for rotating the rotor about the axis, a swing container swinging about a swing axis and having the rotor communicating thereto, a first support member and a second support member being opposite to the first support member for swingingly supporting the swing container. An actuating member rotates the gyroscopic component about an axis around which the rotor does not swing in its free state.

a rotor upper part ( 29 ) having a rotor rotation axis and a rotor lower part ( 30 ) attached to said rotor upper part ( 29 ) in the direction of said rotor rotation axis.

The gyroscope rotor according to claim 1 , said rotor upper part ( 29 ) having a center, said rotor upper part ( 29 ) comprising a rotor upper part housing ( 36 ) annularly spaced apart from said center, a rotor upper inner core ( 31 ) disposed in said rotor upper part housing ( 36 ), said rotor lower part ( 30 ) comprising a rotor lower part housing ( 37 ) annularly spaced apart from said center, and a rotor lower inner core ( 32 ) disposed in said rotor lower part housing ( 37 ).
3 . The gyroscope rotor according to claim 2 , wherein said rotor upper inner core ( 31 ) and said rotor lower inner core ( 32 ) are formed of lead or lead alloy.
4 . The gyroscope rotor according to claim 2 , wherein said rotor upper inner core ( 31 ) is cast in molten form into said rotor upper part housing ( 36 ) and solidified therein, and said rotor lower inner core ( 32 ) is cast in molten form into said rotor lower part housing ( 37 ) and solidified therein.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
