Case for a stick of material to be applied by friction rubbing and product comprising the stick in such a case

Abstract

A case ( 1 ) for a stick ( 2 ) of material to be applied by friction rubbing, in particular a lipstick, including:—a cup ( 3 ), a mechanism ( 9 ) for displacing the cup including: a hollow cylindrical internal body ( 10 ); a hollow cylindrical external body ( 11 ), in which the internal body ( 10 ) is fitted so as to pivot with respect to the external body ( 11 ) around the main axis (X); elements for blocking translational movement between the internal body ( 10 ) and the external body ( 11 ); a casing ( 30 ), at least partially covering the displacement mechanism ( 9 ); elements for rotating the external body ( 11 ) with respect to the internal body ( 10 ); and a lid ( 46 ), hinged on the casing ( 30 ), independent of the displacement mechanism ( 9 ) of the cup ( 3 ).

         13 . Case for a stick of material to be applied by friction, in particular a stick of lipstick, wherein the case comprises:
 a cup, forming a housing for the stick,   a displacement mechanism for moving the cup along a main axis, the mechanism comprising:
 a hollow cylindrical internal body, its axis being the main axis, 
 a hollow cylindrical external body, its axis also being the main axis, within which the internal body is nested so as to pivot relative to the external body about the main axis, 
 elements for preventing axial translation between the internal body and the external body along the main axis; 
   
       the internal body and the external body both being open at a proximal end, so as to define an opening on the case, the cup being in a sliding connection along the main axis with one among the internal body and external body and in a helical connection about the main axis with the other among the internal body and external body, so as to alternately extend the stick from the case through the opening and retract it into the case by rotation of the external body relative to the internal body, the case further comprising:
 a casing, at least partially covering the displacement mechanism, prevented from axial translation along the main axis relative to the internal body and to the external body, and comprising at least a portion that is prevented from rotating about the main axis on the internal body, the casing comprising a single part covering the internal body and the external body, 
 elements for rotating the external body about the main axis relative to the internal body, said elements comprising at least one lateral slot provided in the casing which partially exposes the external body, 
 a lid, hinged to the casing, independent of the displacement mechanism for moving the cup, the lid able to be placed in a closed position where it covers the opening of the case and an open position where it has uncovered the opening of the case. 
 
     
     
         14 . Case according to  claim 13 , wherein the casing extends over the entire length of the case along the main axis. 
     
     
         15 . Case according to  claim 13 , wherein the casing comprises two lateral slots that are symmetrical with one another relative to a plane comprising the main axis. 
     
     
         16 . Case according to  claim 13 , further comprising an intermediate shell prevented from translation and rotation on the external body, the lateral slot or slots of the casing partially exposing the intermediate shell. 
     
     
         17 . Case according to  claim 13 , wherein the lid is hinged to the casing by means of a hinge having its axis transverse to the main axis, the hinge axis being fixed to the casing. 
     
     
         18 . Case according to  claim 17 , wherein the lid is integral with the casing, the hinging of the lid to the casing comprising a portion of elastically deformable material forming a bistable hinge with two positions of equilibrium: a first position corresponding to the closed position of the lid and a second position corresponding to the open position of the lid, about an axis transverse to the main axis. 
     
     
         19 . Case according to  claim 13 , wherein the internal body comprises a distal portion extending beyond the external body, the casing being prevented from rotation and translation at the distal portion of the internal body. 
     
     
         20 . Case according to  claim 13 , wherein the cup is in a sliding connection along the main axis on the internal body and in a helical connection on the external body. 
     
     
         21 . Case according to  claim 13 , wherein the cup is in a sliding connection along the main axis on the external body and in a helical connection on the internal body. 
     
     
         22 . Case according to  claim 13 , wherein the casing is cylindrical. 
     
     
         23 . Case according to  claim 13 , wherein the lid comprises sealing elements for the casing. 
     
     
         24 . Packaged product, in particular a cosmetic product, comprising a stick of material to be applied by friction, the stick being contained in a case according to  claim 13 .
