Abstract
An information processing device includes: a control section that displays, in response to an operation of an operation section, a piece of map information on a display section and acquires, in accordance with the piece of map information displayed on the display section, a list of content related to the piece of map information.

2 . An information processing apparatus, comprising:
circuitry configured to receive, from a plurality of terminals, requests that request transmission of content and that include location information for each of the plurality of terminals, determine physical location information for each of the plurality of terminals based on the location information included in the requests, aggregate the requests for the content from the plurality of terminals based on the physical location information corresponding to each of the plurality of terminals, and provide a graphical user interface (GUI) including a first area and a second area that does not overlap the first area, the first area displaying a geographical map, the second area displaying a ranking list based on a number of requests for each content received from a selected region on the geographical map, wherein the GUI includes a window that displays parameters for updating the ranking list, and the circuitry updates the ranking list based on a parameter selected from the window.
3 . The information processing apparatus according to claim 2 , wherein each request is associated with corresponding registered user information that includes the location information.

The information processing apparatus according to claim 3 , wherein the corresponding registered user information includes at least user age and gender, and the parameters displayed in the window for updating the ranking list include age and gender, the circuitry being further configured to update the ranking list based on selection of at least one of age and gender from the parameters in the window.
5 . The information processing apparatus according to claim 4 , wherein the circuitry is further configured to provide the ranking list to the plurality of terminals after updating the ranking list.
6 . The information processing apparatus according to claim 2 , wherein the circuitry is configured to generate the ranking list at predetermined intervals.
7 . The information processing apparatus according to claim 6 , wherein the predetermined intervals include once per day.
8 . The information processing apparatus according to claim 2 , wherein the first area is adjacent to the second area in the GUI.

The information processing apparatus according to claim 4 , wherein the parameters displayed in the window further include a time of transmission of the contents based on requests, and the circuitry is further configured to generate the ranking list based on the time of transmission of the contents upon selection of the time of transmission of the contents in the window.
10 . The information processing apparatus according to claim 2 , wherein the selected region includes the entire world and the ranking list includes rankings indicative of requests received from the entire world.
11 . The information processing apparatus according to claim 2 , wherein the window is displayed based on user actuation of a displayed button.
12 . The information processing apparatus according to claim 2 , wherein the window overlaps at least one of the first and second areas.
13 . The information processing apparatus according to claim 2 , wherein the circuitry is further configured to highlight the selected region of the geographical map.
14 . The information processing apparatus according to claim 2 , wherein the circuitry is further configured to display a cursor on the geographical map, the cursor being used to select a region of the geographical map.
15 . The information processing apparatus according to claim 2 , wherein the circuitry is further configured to display buttons that cause movement of the geographical map within the first area.
16 . The information processing apparatus according to claim 15 , wherein the movement includes translation of the geographical map.
17 . The information processing apparatus according to claim 15 , wherein the movement includes zooming of the geographical map.
18 . The information processing apparatus according to claim 2 , wherein the information processing apparatus is a server.
19 . An information processing method, comprising:
receiving, with circuitry and from a plurality of terminals, requests that request transmission of content and that include location information for each of the plurality of terminals; determining, with the circuitry, physical location information for each of the plurality of terminals based on the location information included in the requests; aggregating, with the circuitry, the requests for the content from the plurality of terminals based on the physical location information corresponding to each of the plurality of terminals; and providing, with the circuitry, a graphical user interface (GUI) including a first area and a second area that does not overlap the first area, the first area displaying a geographical map, the second area displaying a ranking list based on a number of requests for each content received from a selected region on the geographical map, wherein the GUI includes a window that displays parameters for updating the ranking list, and the circuitry updates the ranking list based on a parameter selected from the window.
20 . A non-transitory computer-readable medium encoded with computer-readable instructions thereon that, when executed by processing circuitry, cause the processing circuitry to perform a method comprising:
receiving, from a plurality of terminals, requests that request transmission of content and that include location information for each of the plurality of terminals; determining physical location information for each of the plurality of terminals based on the location information included in the requests; aggregating the requests for the content from the plurality of terminals based on the physical location information corresponding to each of the plurality of terminals; and providing a graphical user interface (GUI) including a first area and a second area that does not overlap the first area, the first area displaying a geographical map, the second area displaying a ranking list based on a number of requests for each content received from a selected region on the geographical map, wherein the GUI includes a window that displays parameters for updating the ranking list, and the circuitry updates the ranking list based on a parameter selected from the window.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
