Method for determining and using a climate energy index
Abstract
A system and method for determining at least one climate energy index, comprising: at least one server and/or at least one client coupled to at least one application, the at least one application capable of: identifying at least one geographic location; identifying at least one human comfort zone; performing at least one energy calculation for weather ordinates associated with the at least one geographic location and the at least one human comfort zone; summing the at least one energy calculation for at least one time period; combining all the energy calculations to produce at least one energy total for the at least one geographic location; and determining at least one first index value associated with delivered energy based on the at least one energy total for the at least one geographic location.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . A computerized method for determining at least one climate energy index, comprising:
identifying, using at least one application coupled to at least one computer, at least one geographic location;
identifying, using the at least one application, at least one human comfort zone; and
performing, using the at least one application, at least one energy calculation for weather ordinates associated with the at least one geographic location and the at least one human comfort zone.
2 . The method of claim 1 , wherein:
the at least one time period comprises at least one occupancy schedule associated with the use of a building.
3 . The method of claim 1 , wherein:
the at least one energy calculation comprises at least one heating energy calculation, at least one cooling energy calculation, at least one humidification energy calculation, and at least one dehumidification energy calculation.
4 . The method of claim 1 , wherein:
the at least one comfort zone is based upon values associated with occupant comfort values.
5 . The method of claim 1 , further comprising:
determining, using the at least one application, at least one climate carbon index which is associated with primary energy for the at least one geographic location and which is based on the at least one first index value and on carbon factors associated with energy from the at least one energy calculation for the at least one geographic locationJoin the waitlist — get patent alerts
