Abstract

Object of the present invention is the use of Irisin for the treatment and/or prevention of osteoporosis. In particular, the present invention refers to the use of recombinant irisin for the treatment and/or prevention of osteoporosis.

         6 . The irisin for use according to  claim 1 , wherein a dosage of said irisin is 100 μg/kg. 
     
     
         7 . Compositions comprising irisin for use in the treatment and/or prevention of osteoporosis. 
     
     
         8 . The compositions for use according to  claim 7 , wherein said irisin is recombinant irisin.
