Led light assemblies

Abstract

Embodiments of the invention include head and tail lights with and without heat sinks and kits made therefrom for golf carts.

         9 . An LED light kit for a golf cart comprising:
 a three element front light portion including:
 a center light element with a housing with an inverted, substantially trapezoid shape enclosing two rows of LED lights, and 
 two outer substantially rhomboid-shaped light elements, one each to the left and right of the center light element, and each of the substantially rhomboid-shaped light elements the corners opposite each other on a shortest diagonal are substantially rounded corners; and 
   a two element tail light portion with each portion including a vertically oriented, elongated, substantially rhomboid-shaped tail light portion including an elongated, substantially rhomboid-shaped tail light assembly housing surrounding an elongated, substantially rhomboid-shaped tail light element, the tail light element including five diagonal, five-light element rows, which are aligned with and substantially parallel to a diagonally extending top edge of the tail light assembly housing, at an opposite end of the light element are three diagonal, six-light element rows that are on the same diagonal angle as the five, five light element rows, and in between the three, six light element rows and the five, five light element rows are two, four light element rows on the same diagonal angle as the other light element rows.   
     
     
         10 . The LED light kit for a golf cart of  claim 9  wherein the center light element further comprises:
 a top row of seven LED lights that are offset from a bottom row of six LED lights. 
 
     
     
         11 . The LED light kit of  claim 9  wherein each of the substantially rhomboid-shaped light elements further comprises:
 a rhomboid-shaped housing; 
 a marker light including two groups of LED lights, a first group including a first plurality of LED lights arranged in a substantially oval configuration on an outer side of the marker light, and a second group including a second plurality of LED lights arranged in curved line on an inner side of the marker light; and 
 a rhomboid-shaped lens cover sealingly affixed to the rhomboid-shaped housing. 
 
     
     
         12 . The LED light kit of  claim 11  wherein each LED light on the marker light are installed in a recess. 
     
     
         13 . The LED light kit of  claim 9  wherein each tail light portion includes a first red-colored lens over the five diagonal, five-light element rows, and a second red-colored lens over the three diagonal, six-light element rows.
