Dehumidifier

Abstract

Disclosed herein is a dehumidifier which has an improved usability of a user. The dehumidifier includes a main body provided with a water container mounting portion on an upper portion of which a water container is mounted, a water container detachably mounted on the water container mounting portion, a water collection tray provided inside the main body to collect water, a heat exchanger provided between the water container mounting portion and the water collection tray and a drain hole provided at the water container mounting portion to discharge water in the water container mounting portion downward.

What is claimed is: 
     
         1 . A dehumidifier comprising:
 a main body provided with a water container mounting portion on an upper portion of which a water container is mounted;   a water container detachably mounted on the water container mounting portion;   a water collection tray provided inside the main body to collect water;   a heat exchanger provided between the water container mounting portion and the water collection tray; and   a drain hole provided at the water container mounting portion to discharge water in the water container mounting portion downward.   
     
     
         2 . The dehumidifier of  claim 1 , wherein the heat exchanger includes at least one of an evaporator which cools air by evaporating a refrigerant and a condenser which radiates heat to the outside by condensing a refrigerant. 
     
     
         3 . The dehumidifier of  claim 1 , wherein the drain hole includes a path which extends from the water container mounting portion toward the heat exchanger. 
     
     
         4 . The dehumidifier of  claim 1 , wherein the drain hole is formed at an upper side of the heat exchanger such that water flows to the heat exchanger. 
     
     
         5 . The dehumidifier of  claim 1 , further comprising:
 a drain duct which is provided under the heat exchanger and guides water to the water collection tray; and   a drain guide pipe which guides water to at least one of the water collection tray and the drain duct from the drain hole.   
     
     
         6 . The dehumidifier of  claim 5 , wherein the water container mounting portion includes a protrusion which protrudes downward, the drain hole is formed at the protrusion, and the drain guide pipe is connected to the protrusion. 
     
     
         7 . The dehumidifier of  claim 5 , further comprising a sealing member which seals between the drain hole and the drain guide pipe. 
     
     
         8 . The dehumidifier of  claim 5 , wherein the drain guide pipe is formed of at least one of a rubber material, a transparent material, and a plastic material. 
     
     
         9 . The dehumidifier of  claim 1 , wherein the drain hole is provided in plurality. 
     
     
         10 . The dehumidifier of  claim 1 , wherein the water container mounting portion is obliquely provided toward the drain hole such that water is guided to the drain hole. 
     
     
         11 . A dehumidifier comprising:
 a main body provided with a water container mounting portion on an upper portion of which a water container is mounted;   a water container detachably mounted on the water container mounting portion;   a heat exchanger provided under the water container mounting portion; and   a drain hole provided at the water container mounting portion to discharge water in the water container mounting portion downward toward the heat exchanger.   
     
     
         12 . The dehumidifier of  claim 11 , wherein the heat exchanger includes at least one of an evaporator which cools air by evaporating a refrigerant and a condenser which radiates heat to the outside by condensing a refrigerant. 
     
     
         13 . The dehumidifier of  claim 11 , wherein the drain hole is formed at an upper side of the heat exchanger such that water flows to the heat exchanger. 
     
     
         14 . The dehumidifier of  claim 11 , further comprising a drain guide pipe which guides water from the drain hole to the heat exchanger. 
     
     
         15 . The dehumidifier of  claim 14 , wherein the water container mounting portion includes a protrusion which protrudes downward, the drain hole is formed in the protrusion, and the drain guide pipe is connected to the protrusion. 
     
     
         16 . The dehumidifier of  claim 11 , wherein the water container mounting portion is obliquely provided toward the drain hole such that water is guided to the drain hole. 
     
     
         17 . A dehumidifier comprising:
 a main body provided with a water container mounting portion on which a water container is mounted;   a water container detachably mounted on the water container mounting portion;   a heat exchanger which condenses vapor to generate a condensation water;   a water collection tray which collects the condensation water generated by the heat exchanger; and   a drain hole provided at the water container mounting portion such that water in the water container mounting portion is collected in the water collection tray.   
     
     
         18 . The dehumidifier of  claim 17 , wherein the heat exchanger includes at least one of an evaporator which cools air by evaporating a refrigerant and a condenser which radiates heat to the outside by condensing a refrigerant. 
     
     
         19 . The dehumidifier of  claim 17 , wherein the heat exchanger is provided under the water container mounting portion, and the drain hole is provided at an upper side the heat exchanger. 
     
     
         20 . The dehumidifier of  claim 17 , further comprising a drain guide pipe which guides water from the drain hole to the heat exchanger or the water collection tray.
