Abstract

The present invention relates to a process for treating keratin fibers such as the hair using a packaging article comprising i) an envelope defining at least one cavity, the envelope comprising water-soluble and/or liposoluble fibres, preferably water-soluble fibres; ii) at least one anhydrous oxidizing composition, preferably in paste or powder form, comprising at least one anhydrous chemical oxidizing agent, preferably in paste or powder form; it being understood that the oxidizing composition is in one of the cavities defined by the envelope i).

         24 . A packaging article comprising:
 i) an envelope defining at least one cavity, the envelope comprising water-soluble and/or liposoluble fibers, preferably water-soluble fibers;   ii) at least one anhydrous oxidizing composition comprising at least one chemical oxidizing agent;   wherein the anhydrous oxidizing composition is in the at least one cavity defined by the envelope i).   
     
     
         25 . The packaging article of  claim 24 , wherein the anhydrous oxidizing composition is in paste or powder form. 
     
     
         26 . The packaging article of  claim 24 , wherein the envelope i) comprises at least one water-soluble polymer chosen from natural, artificial, or synthetic water-soluble polymers.) 
     
     
         27 . The packaging article of  claim 24 , wherein the envelope i) comprises at least one water-soluble polymer chosen from polysaccharides. 
     
     
         28 . The packaging article of  claim 24 , wherein the envelope i) comprises synthetic water-soluble polymers or PVA fibers. 
     
     
         29 . The packaging article of  claim 24 , wherein the envelope i) is nonwoven. 
     
     
         30 . The packaging article of  claim 24 , wherein the envelope i) comprises liposoluble polymer fibers. 
     
     
         31 . The packaging article of  claim 24 , wherein the envelope i) comprises at least one type of fiber chosen from spun, carded or twisted fibers, wherein the at least one type of fiber has a diameter of less than about 500 μm and/or wherein the tensile strength of the at least one type of fiber is at least about 2.7 g/dtex (3 g/d). 
     
     
         32 . The packaging article of  claim 24 , wherein the envelope i) comprises from about 0.5% to about 20.0% by weight relative to the total weight of the packaging article. 
     
     
         33 . The packaging article of  claim 24 , wherein the chemical oxidizing agent is chosen from peroxygenated salts; oxidases that produce hydrogen peroxide in the presence of a suitable substrate; or mixtures thereof. 
     
     
         34 . The packaging article of  claim 24 , wherein the article comprises at least one alkaline agent iii). 
     
     
         35 . The packaging article of  claim 24 , wherein the article comprises at least one ingredient chosen from: ammonium salts iv; fatty substances v) thickening polymers vi); surfactants vii); or cationic or amphoteric substantive polymers viii). 
     
     
         36 . The packaging article of  claim 24 , wherein the envelope i) comprises a first water-soluble or liposoluble lap and a second water-soluble or liposoluble lap joined together at a peripheral region;
 wherein the first lap comprises a free central region configured to face a free central region of the second lap;   wherein the free central region of the first lap and the free central region of the second lap define the cavity;   wherein the cavity comprises the oxidizing composition comprising at least one chemical oxidizing agent;   wherein at least a portion of the peripheral region is closed.   
     
     
         37 . The packaging article of  claim 36 , further comprising at least one third water-soluble or liposoluble lap, wherein the third lap at least partially defines at least one additional cavity, wherein least one other ingredient is present in the at least one additional cavity and separated from the anhydrous oxidizing composition. 
     
     
         38 . The packaging article of  claim 36 , wherein the first lap and the second lap each have a thickness smaller than their other dimensions. 
     
     
         39 . The packaging article of  claim 36 , wherein the first lap is a nonwoven and the second lap is a nonwoven;
 wherein at least one portion of the peripheral region of the first lap is substantially identical in shape to at least one portion of the peripheral region of the second lap.   
     
     
         40 . A process for dyeing keratin fibers, the process comprising:
 mixing a packaging article with a composition that is capable of dissolving the packaging article to form a resulting composition, the packaging article comprising:
 i) an envelope defining at least one cavity, the envelope comprising water-soluble and/or liposoluble fibers, preferably water-soluble fibers; 
 ii) at least one anhydrous oxidizing composition comprising at least one chemical oxidizing agent; 
 wherein the anhydrous oxidizing composition is in the at least one cavity defined by the envelope i). 
   applying the resulting composition to the keratin fibers;   leaving the resulting composition on the keratin fibers;   rinsing the keratin fibers; and   optionally shampooing, rinsing, and/or drying the keratin fibers.   
     
     
         41 . The process of  claim 40 , wherein the composition that is capable of dissolving the packaging article is an aqueous composition, or an organic composition comprising at least one liquid fatty substance. 
     
     
         42 . The process of  claim 40 , wherein the composition that is capable of dissolving the article comprises a chemical oxidizing agent. 
     
     
         43 . The process of  claim 40 , wherein the weight ratio of the packaging article to the composition that is capable of dissolving the packaging article ranges from about 10/90 to about 50/50.
