Abstract
A package of absorbent sanitary paper products where at least one of the absorbent sanitary paper products comprises a first network of fibers comprising cellulose fibers, a bonding layer comprising a water soluble adhesive applied to a first surface thereof in a pattern, and a second network of fibers comprising individual fibers having an average length at least about 20% greater than fibers comprising said first network of fibers adhesively attached to said bonding layer and conforming with said pattern is disclosed.

A package of absorbent sanitary paper products, at least one of said absorbent sanitary paper products comprising a first network of fibers comprising cellulose fibers having a basis weight of less than about 95 g/m 2 , a bonding layer comprising a water soluble adhesive applied to a first surface thereof in a pattern, a second network of fibers comprising individual fibers having an average length at least about 20% greater than fibers comprising said first network of fibers adhesively attached to said bonding layer and conforming with said pattern.
2 . The package of absorbent sanitary paper products of claim 1 further comprising a second bonding layer applied to a second surface of said first network of fibers and a third network of fibers comprising individual fibers adhesively attached to said second bonding layer.
3 . The package of absorbent sanitary paper products of claim 2 wherein said first network of fibers has a basis weight ranging from between about 10 g/m 2 and about 75 g/m 2 .
4 . The package of absorbent sanitary paper products of claim 1 wherein said first network of fibers has a density of less than about 0.30 g/cm 3 measured at a pressure trap point (PTP) of 100 g/in 2 .
5 . The package of absorbent sanitary paper products of claim 4 wherein said first network of fibers has a density ranging from about 0.12 g/cm 3 to about 0.05 g/cm 3 measured at a pressure trap point (PTP) of 100 g/in 2 .
6 . The package of absorbent sanitary paper products of claim 1 wherein said first network of fibers has a total dry tensile strength of less than 8000 gf/in.
7 . The package of absorbent sanitary paper products of claim 1 wherein said at least one absorbent sanitary paper product is convolutely wound about itself to form a dispensable roll.

A package of absorbent sanitary paper products, at least one of said absorbent sanitary paper products comprising a first network of fibers comprising cellulose fibers having a total dry tensile strength of less than about 8000 gf/in, a first bonding layer comprising a water soluble adhesive applied to a first surface thereof in a pattern, a second network of fibers comprising individual fibers having an average length at least about 20% greater than fibers comprising said first network of fibers adhesively attached to said bonding layer and conforming with said pattern.
9 . The package of absorbent sanitary paper products of claim 8 wherein said first network of fibers has a basis weight of less than about 75 g/m 2 .
10 . The package of absorbent sanitary paper products of claim 8 wherein said at least one absorbent sanitary paper product is convolutely wound about itself to form a dispensable roll.
11 . The package of absorbent sanitary paper products of claim 8 wherein said first network of fibers has a density of less than about 0.30 g/cm 3 measured at a pressure trap point (PTP) of 100 g/in 2 .
12 . The package of absorbent sanitary paper products of claim 1 further comprising a second bonding layer applied to a second surface of said first network of fibers and a third network of fibers comprising individual fibers adhesively attached to said second bonding layer.
13 . The package of absorbent sanitary paper products of claim 8 wherein said first network of fibers has a total dry tensile strength of less than 5000 gf/in.
14 . The package of absorbent sanitary paper products of claim 13 wherein said first network of fibers has a total dry tensile strength of less than 3000 gf/in.

A package of absorbent sanitary paper products, at least one of said absorbent sanitary paper products comprising a first network of fibers comprising cellulose fibers having a density of less than about 0.30 g/cm 3 measured at a pressure trap point (PTP) of 100 g/in 2 , a bonding layer comprising a water soluble adhesive applied to a first surface thereof in a pattern, a second network of fibers comprising individual fibers having an average length at least about 20% greater than fibers comprising said first network of fibers adhesively attached to said bonding layer and conforming with said pattern.
16 . The package of absorbent sanitary paper products of claim 15 wherein said first network of fibers has a basis weight of less than about 75 g/m 2 .
17 . The package of absorbent sanitary paper products of claim 15 further comprising a second bonding layer applied to a second surface of said first network of fibers and a third network of fibers comprising individual fibers adhesively attached to said second bonding layer.
18 . The package of absorbent sanitary paper products of claim 15 wherein said first network of fibers has a density ranging from about 0.12 g/cm 3 to about 0.05 g/cm 3 measured at a pressure trap point (PTP) of 100 g/in 2 .
19 . The package of absorbent sanitary paper products of claim 15 wherein said at least one absorbent sanitary paper product is convolutely wound about itself to form a dispensable roll.
