Method and system for urban room structures
Abstract
Some embodiments include a structural building that supports attachment of modular rooms. The structural building can include one or more anchoring structures fixated to its building frame. A moveable modular room can be adapted to be detachably connectable to at least one of the anchoring structures. The modular room can be adapted with fixture features for a customized application to use the modular room. The anchoring structures can be adapted to enable replacement of the moveable modular room, as a single unit, by another moveable modular room. The moveable modular room can be a configurable room.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modifiedWhat is claimed is:
1 . A structural building providing living or working space, comprising:
a building frame; one or more anchoring structures fixated to the building frame; a moveable modular room adapted to be detachably connectable to at least one of the anchoring structures, wherein the modular room is adapted with fixture features for a customized application of using the modular room; and wherein the anchoring structures are adapted to enable replacement of the moveable modular room, as a single unit, by another moveable modular room.
2 . The structural building of claim 1 , wherein the moveable modular room is a configurable common room, and wherein the configurable common room is adjacent to or surrounded by two or more unconfigurable bedrooms or offices.
3 . The structural building of claim 2 , wherein the configurable common room includes a room customization module capable of expanding out and contracting a room customization feature, wherein the room customization feature is a collapsible furniture, appliance, fixture, or any combination thereof.
4 . The structural building of claim 1 , wherein the customized application includes a kitchen application, a bedroom application, a living room application, an entertainment room application, a bathroom application, an office application, a patio application, a terrace application, a gym application, a laundry room application, a children's room application, or any combination thereof.
5 . The structural building of claim 1 , wherein the anchoring structures include a loop, a hook, a slot, a rail, or any combination thereof.
6 . A configurable room comprising:
a room structural frame; and a first room customization module configured to present a first room usage utility and coupled to the room structural frame; a second room customization module configured to present a second room usage utility and coupled to the room structural frame; and wherein at least one of the first room customization module and the second room customization module is adapted with a user engagement mechanism to expand the room customization module to take up additional space or contract to reduce space taken in the configurable room.
7 . The configurable room of claim 6 , wherein the first room customization module is an appliance, a tool, a configurable fixture, a furniture, or any combination thereof.
8 . The configurable room of claim 6 , wherein the second room customization module is capable of folding into itself or into the first room customization module.
9 . The configurable room of claim 6 , wherein the room structural frame has a predefined space adapted with a coupling-and-release mechanism; and wherein the first room customization module is adapted to be detachably coupled to the room structural frame via the coupling-and-release mechanism at the predefined space.
10 . The configurable room of claim 6 , wherein the first room customization module is at least partially permanently attached to the room structural frame.
11 . The configurable room of claim 6 , wherein the room structural frame is adapted to be inserted into and detachably coupled to a building structure adapted to accept modular rooms.
12 . The configurable room of claim 6 , further comprising a mechanical actuator mechanically coupled to at least one of the first room customization module and the second room customization module.
13 . The configurable room of claim 12 , the mechanical actuator is configured to fold, re-align, re-orient, re-position, resize, or re-configure, the at least one of the first room customization module and the second room customization module.
14 . The configurable room of claim 12 , further comprising a computing machine configured to control the mechanical actuator.
15 . The configurable room of claim 14 , wherein the computing machine is configured to implement an authentication interface to authorize access into the configurable room.
16 . The configurable room of claim 14 , wherein the computing machine is configured to implement a reservation interface to schedule an appropriate time for a specific user to access the configurable room.
17 . A computer-implemented method comprising:
authenticating, at a computing machine, a user account to utilize a configurable common room; presenting, via the computing machine, available room usage applications associated with a plurality of room customization modules in the configurable common room to the user; receiving, at the computing machine, a user selection of one of the available room usage applications; enabling, at the computing machine, the user account to configure the plurality of room customization modules to align with one or more predefined spaces; and accounting for, at the computing machine, usage of the configurable common room by the user account based on the user selection or utility resources consumed while using the configurable common room.
18 . The computer-implemented method of claim 17 , wherein accounting for the usage includes maintaining a fee charge accounting associated with the usage of the configurable common room based on at least tone of time window of the usage and the utility resources consumed.
19 . The computer-implemented method of claim 17 , wherein enabling the user account includes sending a command to unlock at least a subset of the room customization modules.
20 . The computer-implemented method of claim 17 , wherein enabling the user account includes sending a command to unlock a doorway into the configurable common room.
21 . The computer-implemented method of claim 17 , wherein enabling the user account includes mechanically actuating or moving at least a subset of the room customization modules.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
