Abstract

Embodiments include a system for displays cardiovascular information for a patient. The system may include at least one computer system configured to receive patient-specific data regarding a geometry of the patient's heart and create a model representing at least a portion of the patient's heart based on the patient-specific data. The computer system may determine at least one value of the blood flow characteristic within the patient's heart based on the model. The computer system may also display a report comprising a representation of at least one artery corresponding to at least a portion the model, and display one or more indicators of the value of the blood flow characteristic on a corresponding portion of the at least one artery.

 create a model representing at least a portion of the patient's heart based on the patient-specific data;
 determine at least one value of a blood flow characteristic within the patient's heart based on the model;
 generate a report comprising a representation of at least one artery corresponding to at least a portion of the model, wherein the representation comprises a first artery display and a second artery display, wherein the first artery display comprises a representation of a system of a plurality of arteries, and the second artery display comprises a detail of an artery from the first artery display, and wherein the representation of the at least one artery is displayed with a predetermined angulation; and
 display on the report one or more indicators of the value of the blood flow characteristic on a corresponding portion of the at least one artery on at least one of the first artery display and the second artery display.

         22 . The system of claim 21 , wherein the predetermined angulation may be modified by a user.

         23 . The system of claim 22 , wherein the at least one computer system is further configured to:
 receive a modification of the predetermined angulation; and alter the representation based on the modification.

         24 . The system of claim 21 , wherein the computer system is further configured to:
 in response to detecting that a user has caused the first artery display to be modified, modify the display of the second artery display in a corresponding manner.

         25 . The system of claim 21 , wherein the representation further comprises a pullback curve representing the at least one artery, the pullback curve indicating at least one computed fractional flow reserve value at at least one location of the artery.

         26 . The system of claim 21 , wherein at least one artery is truncated in the representation in response to determining that the lumen of at least a portion of the at least one artery is below a predetermined threshold.

         27 . The system of claim 21 , wherein the indicator visually indicates a point on the first artery display and a corresponding point on the second artery display.

         28 . The system of claim 21 , wherein the indicator comprises an indication of a portion of the lumen diameter of the first artery that is due to the intersection with the second artery.

         29 . A computer-implemented method for displaying cardiovascular information of a patient, the system comprising:
 receiving patient-specific data regarding a geometry of the patient's heart; creating a model representing at least a portion of the patient's heart based on the patient-specific data; determining at least one value of a blood flow characteristic within the patient's heart based on the model; generating a report comprising a representation of at least one artery corresponding to at least a portion of the model, wherein the representation comprises a first artery display and a second artery display, wherein the first artery display comprises a representation of a system of a plurality of arteries, and the second artery display comprises a detail of an artery from the first artery display, and wherein the representation of the at least one artery is displayed with a predetermined angulation; and displaying on the report one or more indicators of the value of the blood flow characteristic on a corresponding portion of the at least one artery on at least one of the first artery display and the second artery display.

         30 . The method of claim 29 , wherein the predetermined angulation may be modified by a user.

         31 . The method of claim 29 , further comprising:
 receiving a modification of the predetermined angulation; and altering the representation based on the modification.

         32 . The method of claim 29 , further comprising:
 in response to detecting that a user has caused the first artery display to be modified, modifying the display of the second artery display in a corresponding manner.

         33 . The method of claim 29 , wherein the representation further comprises a pullback curve representing the at least one artery, the pullback curve indicating at least one computed fractional flow reserve value at at least one location of the artery.

         34 . The method of claim 29 , wherein at least one artery is truncated in the representation in response to determining that the lumen of at least a portion of the at least one artery is below a predetermined threshold.

         35 . The method of claim 29 , wherein the indicator visually indicates a point on the first artery display and a corresponding point on the second artery display.

         36 . The method of claim 29 , wherein the indicator comprises an indication of a portion of the lumen diameter of the first artery that is due to the intersection with the second artery.

         37 . A non-transitory computer-readable medium storing instructions that, when executed by a processor, cause the processor to perform a method for displaying cardiovascular information of a patient, the method including:
 receiving patient-specific data regarding a geometry of the patient's heart; creating a model representing at least a portion of the patient's heart based on the patient-specific data; determining at least one value of a blood flow characteristic within the patient's heart based on the model; generating a report comprising a representation of at least one artery corresponding to at least a portion of the model, wherein the representation comprises a first artery display and a second artery display, wherein the first artery display comprises a representation of a system of a plurality of arteries, and the second artery display comprises a detail of an artery from the first artery display, and wherein the representation of the at least one artery is displayed with a predetermined angulation; and displaying on the report one or more indicators of the value of the blood flow characteristic on a corresponding portion of the at least one artery on at least one of the first artery display and the second artery display.

         38 . The computer-readable medium of claim 37 , wherein the predetermined angulation may be modified by a user.
