Abstract

A computer implemented method for the cluster of media, the method comprises, selecting a media search source via a user interface; providing a form-based interface that allow the entry of inputs to form a media search query; submitting the media search query to the media search source; receiving a media search result for viewing on the user interface based on the media search query, the media search result comprising media items; displaying the media search result in a collection depository on the user interface; and clustering the media items into one or more stacks having a variable number of the media items, wherein the method is performed by one or more processors adapted to execute instructions stored on one or more memory components of the computer, is described herein.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
1 . A method comprising:
 receiving a selection of a media search source; receiving a media search query from inputs to an interface form; processing the media search query based on the media search source; receiving, from the media search source, a media search result, wherein the media search result comprises at least one media object; receiving a request to store the media search query for the media search result; and storing the media search query as a user created feed comprising persistence of the inputs, and wherein selection of the user created feed resubmits the media search query using the inputs.

         2 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the user created feed comprises a title, a category, and an XML-based persistence of the inputs to form the media search query.

         3 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the media search result comprises a plurality of media objects including the at least one media object, and wherein the method further comprises:
 clustering the plurality of media objects into stacks having at least one of the plurality of media objects.

         4 . The method of claim 3 , wherein the clustering the plurality of media objects into stacks uses a time and an author based clustering of the media items.

         5 . The method of  claim 3 , wherein the clustering the plurality of media objects into stacks is based on a data size of each of the plurality of media objects;

         6 . The method of claim 3 , further comprising:
 generating a storyboard of the plurality of media objects using the stacks of the plurality of media objects, wherein the storyboard comprises positions within a presentation of the plurality of media objects for each of the stacks.

         7 . The method of claim 6 , further comprising:
 receiving a presentation style for the presentation of the plurality of media objects; and populating a media presentation using the presentation style and the plurality of media objects.

         8 . The method of claim 7 , wherein the storyboard comprises at least a portion of a graphical user interface comprises a collection depository for the stacks, and wherein the user provides input to place each of the stacks in the positions within the storyboard.

         9 . The method of claim 7 , wherein the presentation style comprises at least one of a picture frame, a television, a billboard, a tree, a postcard, a kaleidoscope, a landscape, or a street scene.

         10 . A system comprising:
 a non-transitory memory; and one or more hardware processors coupled to the non-transitory memory and configured to read instructions from the non-transitory memory to cause the system to perform operations comprising:
 receiving a selection of a media search source;
 receiving a media search query from inputs to an interface form;
 processing the media search query based on the media search source;
 receiving, from the media search source, a media search result, wherein the media search result comprises at least one media object;
 receiving a request to store the media search query for the media search result; and
 storing the media search query as a user created feed comprising persistence of the inputs, and wherein selection of the user created feed resubmits the media search query using the inputs.

         11 . The system of claim 10 , wherein the user created feed comprises a title, a category, and an XML-based persistence of the inputs to form the media search query.

         12 . The system of claim 10 , wherein the media search result comprises a plurality of media objects including the at least one media object, and wherein the operations further comprise:
 clustering the plurality of media objects into stacks having at least one of the plurality of media objects.

         13 . The system of claim 12 , wherein the clustering the plurality of media objects into stacks uses a time and an author based clustering of the media items.

         14 . The system of claim 12 , wherein the clustering the plurality of media objects into stacks is based on a data size of each of the plurality of media objects.

         15 . The system of claim 12 , wherein the operations further comprise:
 generating a storyboard of the plurality of media objects using the stacks of the plurality of media objects, wherein the storyboard comprises positions within a presentation of the plurality of media objects for each of the stacks.

         16 . The system of claim 15 , wherein the operations further comprise:
 receiving a presentation style for the presentation of the plurality of media objects; and populating a media presentation using the presentation style and the plurality of media objects.

         17 . The system of claim 16 , wherein the storyboard comprises at least a portion of a graphical user interface comprises a collection depository for the stacks, and wherein the user provides input to place each of the stacks in the positions within the storyboard.

         18 . The system of claim 16 , wherein the presentation style comprises at least one of a picture frame, a television, a billboard, a tree, a postcard, a kaleidoscope, a landscape, or a street scene.

         19 . A non-transitory machine-readable medium having stored thereon machine-readable instructions executable to cause a machine to perform operations comprising:
 receiving a selection of a media search source; receiving a media search query from inputs to an interface form; processing the media search query based on the media search source; receiving, from the media search source, a media search result, wherein the media search result comprises at least one media object; receiving a request to store the media search query for the media search result; and storing the media search query as a user created feed comprising persistence of the inputs, and wherein selection of the user created feed resubmits the media search query using the inputs.

         20 . The non-transitory machine-readable medium of claim 19 , wherein the user created feed comprises a title, a category, and an XML-based persistence of the inputs to form the media search query.
