Abstract

A portable air conditioning unit that includes: a display panel; a temperature gage, where the temperature gage and display panel are place on a front surface of the portable air conditioning unit; at least one battery pack; an AC connection, where the AC connection and the at least one battery pack are on a back surface of the air conditioning unit; and a series vents around the perimeter of the air conditioning unit. Preferably, portable air conditioning unit is pentagon shaped and in an alternative embodiment the unit is rectangular.

What is claimed is: 
     
         1 . A portable air conditioning unit comprising:
 a. a display panel;   b. a temperature gage, where the temperature gage and display panel are place on a front surface of the portable air conditioning unit;   c. at least one battery pack;   d. an AC connection, where the AC connection and the at least one battery pack are on a back surface of the air conditioning unit; and   e. a series vents around the perimeter of the air conditioning unit.   
     
     
         2 . The portable air conditioning unit according to  claim 1 , where the unit is pentagon shaped. 
     
     
         3 . The portable air conditioning unit according to  claim 1 , where the unit is rectangular. 
     
     
         4 . The portable air conditioning unit according to  claim 1 , where two battery packs are available for use. 
     
     
         5 . The portable air conditioning unit according to  claim 1 , where the unit is placed on an interior of a motor vehicle.
