Abstract

In some embodiments, a body washing enclosure device may include a footing wall having a flange and a scrubbing pad depression. The scrubbing pad depression may include a depression sidewall and a depression base. The depression sidewall may be coupled to the flange and may extend below the flange. The depression base may be coupled to the depression sidewall below the flange, and the scrubbing pad depression may be disposed on the footing wall with the flange extending around the scrubbing pad depression. A fastener may couple a scrubbing pad having a scrubbing pad surface within the scrubbing pad depression. In further embodiments, the flange may be coupled to a shower wall of a washing area enclosure. In still further embodiments, the flange may form one or more shower walls of a washing area enclosure.

What is claimed is: 
     
         1 . A body washing enclosure device, the device comprising:
 a footing wall having a flange;   a scrubbing pad depression having a depression sidewall and a depression base, wherein the depression sidewall is coupled to the flange and extends below the flange, wherein the depression base is coupled to the depression sidewall below the flange, and wherein the scrubbing pad depression is disposed on the footing wall with the flange extending around the scrubbing pad depression;   a fastener; and   a scrubbing pad having a scrubbing pad surface, wherein the fastener couples the scrubbing pad within the scrubbing pad depression.   
     
     
         2 . The device of  claim 1 , wherein the scrubbing pad is coupled to the depression base. 
     
     
         3 . The device of  claim 1 , wherein the scrubbing pad is coupled to the depression sidewall. 
     
     
         4 . The device of  claim 1 , wherein the fastener removably couples the scrubbing pad within the scrubbing pad depression. 
     
     
         5 . The device of  claim 4 , wherein the fastener is selected from the group consisting essentially of a snap fit type fastener, a hook and loop type fastener, a magnetic type fastener, a threaded type fastener, a sealable tongue and groove fastener, a clip type fastener, a clasp type fastener, and a ratchet type fastener. 
     
     
         6 . The device of  claim 1 , wherein the scrubbing pad is complementary in shape to the shape of the scrubbing pad depression. 
     
     
         7 . The device of  claim 1 , wherein the scrubbing pad surface is complementary in shape to the shape of the depression sidewall. 
     
     
         8 . The device of  claim 1 , wherein the flange is planar in shape. 
     
     
         9 . The device of  claim 1 , wherein the scrubbing pad surface extends above the flange. 
     
     
         10 . The device of  claim 1 , wherein the scrubbing pad surface is formed by a plurality of bristles. 
     
     
         11 . A body washing enclosure device, the device comprising:
 a footing wall having a flange;   a scrubbing pad depression having a depression sidewall and a depression base, wherein the depression sidewall is coupled to the flange and extends below the flange, wherein the depression base is coupled to the depression sidewall below the flange, and wherein the scrubbing pad depression is disposed on the footing wall with the flange extending around the scrubbing pad depression;   a fastener;   a scrubbing pad having a scrubbing pad surface, wherein the fastener couples the scrubbing pad within the scrubbing pad depression; and   a shower wall, wherein the shower wall is coupled to the flange, and wherein the flange and shower wall form a washing area enclosure.   
     
     
         12 . The device of  claim 11 , wherein the scrubbing pad is coupled to the depression base. 
     
     
         13 . The device of  claim 11 , wherein the scrubbing pad is coupled to the depression sidewall. 
     
     
         14 . The device of  claim 11 , wherein the fastener removably couples the scrubbing pad within the scrubbing pad depression. 
     
     
         15 . The device of  claim 14 , wherein the fastener is selected from the group consisting essentially of a snap fit type fastener, a hook and loop type fastener, a magnetic type fastener, a threaded type fastener, a sealable tongue and groove fastener, a clip type fastener, a clasp type fastener, and a ratchet type fastener. 
     
     
         16 . The device of  claim 11 , wherein the scrubbing pad is complementary in shape to the shape of the scrubbing pad depression. 
     
     
         17 . The device of  claim 11 , wherein the scrubbing pad surface is complementary in shape to the shape of the depression sidewall. 
     
     
         18 . The device of  claim 11 , wherein the flange is planar in shape. 
     
     
         19 . The device of  claim 11 , wherein the scrubbing pad surface extends above the flange. 
     
     
         20 . The device of  claim 11 , wherein the scrubbing pad surface is formed by a plurality of bristles.
