Indoor unit

Abstract

In an indoor unit in which a front surface of a casing is curved to bulge so that its central part is at the foremost, a filter cannot be easily taken out. An indoor unit of the present invention includes a casing, a front panel provided forward of the casing, and a filter arranged to be attachable to a mounting position to cover an opening formed on a front surface of the casing. On the front surface of the casing, a protruding wall surface is provided around a lower end portion of the opening to protrude forward, a front end of the protruding wall being curved so that a central part of the front end protrudes forward. The front panel is rotatable relative to the casing so that the lower end portion thereof moves forward, and the protruding wall surface is inclined forward in a downward direction.

         6 . An indoor unit comprising:
 a casing;   a front panel provided at a position forward of the casing; and   a filter arranged to be attachable to a mounting position to cover an opening formed on a front surface of the casing,   wherein, on the front surface of the casing, a protruding wall surface is provided around a lower end portion of the opening to protrude forward, a front end of the protruding wall being curved so that a central part of the front end protrudes forward,   the front panel is rotatable relative to the casing so that a lower end portion of the front panel moves forward,   the protruding wall surface is inclined forward in a downward direction, and   when the filter is attached to the mounting portion, a lower end portion of the filter being on the back surface side of the front end of the protruding wall.   
     
     
         7 . The indoor unit according to  claim 6 , further comprising a heat exchanger provided in the casing,
 a front end portion and its surroundings of the filter being in parallel to a front surface of the heat exchanger in a state that the filter is attached to the mounting position.   
     
     
         8 . The indoor unit according to  claim 6 , wherein, at the lower end portion of the opening of the casing, restriction means is provided to restrict forward movement of the front end portion of the filter attached to the mounting position. 
     
     
         9 . The indoor unit according to  claim 7 , wherein, at the lower end portion of the opening of the casing, restriction means is provided to restrict forward movement of the front end portion of the filter attached to the mounting position. 
     
     
         10 . The indoor unit according to  claim 6 , wherein, at the front end portion of the filter, a handle portion is provided for taking out the filter. 
     
     
         11 . The indoor unit according to  claim 7 , wherein, at the front end portion of the filter, a handle portion is provided for taking out the filter. 
     
     
         12 . The indoor unit according to  claim 8 , wherein, at the front end portion of the filter, a handle portion is provided for taking out the filter. 
     
     
         13 . The indoor unit according to  claim 9 , wherein, at the front end portion of the filter, a handle portion is provided for taking out the filter. 
     
     
         14 . The indoor unit according to  claim 6 , wherein, in a state that the front panel is closed with respect to the casing, the lower end portion of the front panel is identical in height with the central part of the front end of the protruding wall surface. 
     
     
         15 . The indoor unit according to  claim 7 , wherein, in a state that the front panel is closed with respect to the casing, the lower end portion of the front panel is identical in height with the central part of the front end of the protruding wall surface. 
     
     
         16 . The indoor unit according to  claim 8 , wherein, in a state that the front panel is closed with respect to the casing, the lower end portion of the front panel is identical in height with the central part of the front end of the protruding wall surface. 
     
     
         17 . The indoor unit according to  claim 9 , wherein, in a state that the front panel is closed with respect to the casing, the lower end portion of the front panel is identical in height with the central part of the front end of the protruding wall surface. 
     
     
         18 . The indoor unit according to  claim 10 , wherein, in a state that the front panel is closed with respect to the casing, the lower end portion of the front panel is identical in height with the central part of the front end of the protruding wall surface.
