Abstract
It is an object of the present invention to provide an oriented collagen/apatite material wherein an orientation is controlled, and a method of the oriented collagen/apatite material wherein an orientation is controlled. An orientated collagen/apatite material includes a collagen having an orientation and an apatite, which is produced and fixed on at least one of a surface and an inside of the collagen. The apatite has an orientation similar to or almost the same as a direction of an orientation of the collagen.

1 . An orientated collagen/apatite material comprising:
a collagen having an orientation; and an apatite, which is produced and fixed on at least one of a surface and an inside of the collagen, the apatite having an orientation similar to or almost the same as a direction of an orientation of the collagen.
2 . An orientated collagen/apatite material according to claim 1 , wherein the orientation is a uniaxial orientation, a spiral orientation, a double axis orientation, a two-dimensional orientation, a triaxial orientation, or a three-dimensional orientation.
3 . An orientated collagen/apatite material according to claim 1 , wherein a size of the material is a macro size of a millimeter order or more.
4 . An orientated collagen/apatite material according to claim 2 , wherein a size of the material is a macro size of a millimeter order or more.
5 . An orientated collagen/apatite material according to claim 1 , wherein the collagen having an orientation is coated on a substrate comprising a metal, a ceramic material, a high-polymer material, or a biomaterial.
6 . An orientated collagen/apatite material according to claim 2 , wherein the collagen having an orientation is coated on a substrate comprising a metal, a ceramic material, a high-polymer material, or a biomaterial.
7 . An orientated collagen/apatite material according to claim 3 , wherein the collagen having an orientation is coated on a substrate comprising a metal, a ceramic material, a high-polymer material, or a biomaterial.
8 . An orientated collagen/apatite material according to claim 4 , wherein the collagen having an orientation is coated on a substrate comprising a metal, a ceramic material, a high-polymer material, or a biomaterial.
9 . An orientated collagen/apatite material according to claim 1 , wherein in the material, a calcification is generated by the deposition of the apatite on at least one of the surface and the inside of the collagen.
10 . An orientated collagen/apatite material according to claim 2 , wherein in the material, a calcification is generated by the deposition of the apatite on at least one of the surface and the inside of the collagen.
11 . An orientated collagen/apatite material according to claim 3 , wherein in the material, a calcification is generated by the deposition of the apatite on at least one of the surface and the inside of the collagen.
12 . An orientated collagen/apatite material according to claim 4 , wherein in the material, a calcification is generated by the deposition of the apatite on at least one of the surface and the inside of the collagen.
13 . An orientated collagen/apatite material according to claim 5 , wherein in the material, a calcification is generated by the deposition of the apatite on at least one of the surface and the inside of the collagen.
14 . An orientated collagen/apatite material according to claim 6 , wherein in the material, a calcification is generated by the deposition of the apatite on at least one of the surface and the inside of the collagen.
15 . An orientated collagen/apatite material according to claim 7 , wherein in the material, a calcification is generated by the deposition of the apatite on at least one of the surface and the inside of the collagen.
