Bag computer system and bag apparatus
Abstract
Disclosed is a system comprised of a bag and computer combination which allows the bag wearer to quickly access and use a computer while mobile. The system can be in three forms and all three are used in the same way: a pivoting cover is moved out of the way to expose a display which pivots into the line of sight of the wearer/operator. When assembled, all the components are physically connected and electrical components are electrically connected. Additional components include a keyboard or write pad mounted on the pivoting cover or on a separate pivoting mount near the center bag front, a display prop which braces the display in various angular positions and side pockets fitted for peripherals. An example is cited using a bag with flap mounts and equipment which mounts to the flaps using clamps.

exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . A display apparatus attachable to a bag wall for mobile use, the apparatus comprised of:
a. a display panel comprised of a front side with an electronic display and an attachment edge; b. a panel pivotally attached to the display panel attachment edge; c. a computing unit panel; and d. one or more complimentary fittings configured to connect the computing unit panel to the panel pivotally attached to the display panel attachment edge wherein the bag wall is locatable between the computing unit panel and the panel pivotally attached to the display panel attachment edge and the computing unit panel is attachable to an inside surface of the bag wall and the panel pivotally attached to the display panel attachment edge is attachable to an outside surface of the bag wall.
2 . The display apparatus of claim 1 , wherein display panel is further comprised of a control.
3 . The display apparatus of claim 1 , wherein display panel is further comprised of a back side with a pointing device.
4 . The display apparatus of claim 1 further comprised of an electrical connection electrically connecting the display panel with the computing unit panel.
5 . A display apparatus attachable to a bag wall for mobile use, the apparatus comprised of:
a. a display panel comprised of a front side with an electronic display and an attachment edge pivotally attached to one or more complimentary fittings; and b. a computing unit panel configured to connect to the one or more complimentary fittings wherein the one or more complimentary fittings may connect the computing unit panel to the display panel with the bag wall locatable between them and the computing unit panel is attachable to an inside surface of the bag wall and the display panel is attachable to an outside surface of the bag wall.
6 . The display apparatus of claim 5 , wherein display panel is further comprised of a control.
7 . The display apparatus of claim 5 , wherein display panel is further comprised of a back side with a pointing device.
8 . The display apparatus of claim 5 further comprised of an electrical connection electrically connecting the display panel with the computing unit panel.
9 . A display apparatus for mobile use comprised of:
a. a bag comprised of at least one bag wall including an inside surface and an outside surface; b. a display panel including a front side with an electronic display and an attachment edge; c. a panel pivotally attached to the display panel attachment edge; d. a computing unit panel; and e. one or more complimentary fittings configured to connect the computing unit panel to the panel pivotally attached to the display panel attachment edge wherein the bag wall is located between the computing unit panel and the panel pivotally attached to the display panel attachment edge and the computing unit panel is attached to the inside surface of the bag wall and the panel pivotally attached to the display panel attachment edge is attached to the outside surface of the bag wall.
10 . The display apparatus of claim 9 wherein the bag wall is further comprised of one or more holes configured to accommodate the passage of the one or more complimentary fittings through the bag wall.
11 . The display apparatus of claim 9 wherein the bag wall is comprised of a structure selected from a group consisting of a front wall including a CESA on its outside surface, a top wall and a combination thereof.
12 . The display apparatus of claim 11 wherein the display panel attachment edge is located near a junction of the front wall and the top wall and the display panel is oriented to pivot into the CESA when the display panel is in a storage position.
13 . The display apparatus of claim 12 wherein the bag is further comprised of a pivoting cover pivotally attached to the bag and oriented to pivot from a storage position covering the computer equipment storage area to an operating position exposing the computer equipment storage area.
14 . The display apparatus of claim 13 wherein the bag wall is further comprised of one or more holes configured to accommodate the passage of the one or more complimentary fittings through the bag wall.
15 . The display apparatus of claim 13 wherein the pivoting cover is pivotally attached near a bottom of the computer equipment storage area distal to the junction of the front wall and the top wall.
16 . The display apparatus of claim 9 , wherein display panel is further comprised of a control.
17 . The display apparatus of claim 9 , wherein display panel is further comprised of a back side with a pointing device.
18 . The display apparatus of claim 9 further comprised of an electrical connection electrically connecting the display panel with the computing unit panel.
19 . A display apparatus for mobile use comprised of:
a. a bag comprised of at least one bag wall including an inside surface and an outside surface; b. a display panel comprised of a front side with an electronic display and an attachment edge pivotally attached to one or more complimentary fittings; and c. a computing unit panel configured to connect to the one or more complimentary fittings wherein the one or more complimentary fittings connect the computing unit panel to the display panel with the bag wall located between them and the computing unit panel is attached to an inside surface of the bag wall and the display panel is attached to an outside surface of the bag wall.
20 . The display apparatus of claim 19 wherein the bag wall is further comprised of one or more holes configured to accommodate the passage of the one or more complimentary fittings through the bag wall.
21 . The display apparatus of claim 19 wherein the bag wall is comprised of a structure selected from a group consisting of a front wall including a CESA on its outside surface, a top wall and a combination thereof.
22 . The display apparatus of claim 21 wherein the display panel attachment edge is located near a junction of the front wall and the top wall and the display panel is oriented to pivot into the CESA when the display panel is in a storage position.
23 . The display apparatus of claim 22 wherein the bag is further comprised of a pivoting cover pivotally attached to the bag and oriented to pivot from a storage position covering the computer equipment storage area to an operating position exposing the computer equipment storage area.
24 . The display apparatus of claim 23 wherein the bag wall is further comprised of one or more holes configured to accommodate the passage of the one or more complimentary fittings through the bag wall.
25 . The display apparatus of claim 23 wherein the pivoting cover is pivotally attached near a bottom of the computer equipment storage area distal to the junction of the front wall and the top wall.
26 . The display apparatus of claim 19 , wherein display panel is further comprised of a control.
27 . The display apparatus of claim 19 wherein display panel is further comprised of a back side with a pointing device.
28 . The display apparatus of claim 19 further comprised of an electrical connection electrically connecting the display panel with the computing unit panel.
29 . A bag apparatus for holding a display panel and a computing unit panel, the bag apparatus comprised of:
a. a bag with at least one bag wall including an inside surface, an outside surface with a CESA and a junction of front and top walls; b. one or more holes in the bag wall configured to allow the connection of the display panel to the computing unit panel wherein the bag wall is locatable between the computing unit panel and the display panel and the computing unit panel is attachable to an inside surface of the bag wall and the display panel is attachable to an outside surface of the bag wall; and c. a pivoting cover pivotally attached to the bag wherein the pivoting cover is oriented to pivot from a storage position covering the computer equipment storage area to an operating position exposing the computer equipment storage area.
