A window mounted room air conditioner insulation and installation device that assists with the efficient and effective installation of a window air conditioner, so that an indoor room environment remains relatively constant despite changes in external weather conditions or in internal heat loads.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modifiedWhat is claimed is:
1 . A window mounted room air conditioner insulation and installation device for mounting an air conditioner unit in an open window, comprising: a rectangular frame used as the chassis for adding all installation and insulation material; two flexible and bendy middle areas at the top and bottom of the rectangular frame which when bended inwards, allows the devise to fit into the open window area and when released, will spring back into its original rectangular shape, covering the whole window area; insulated flaps used to provide a better air seal between the air conditioner unit and the installation device and at the same time present a more aesthetic look of the device; flexible version of the window mounted room air conditioner insulation and installation device allows various air conditioner size units, both in terms of width and height, be installed using the same device; insulation material covering all surface areas, inside and out, of the rectangular frame chassis.
2 . The window mounted room air conditioner insulation and installation device according to claim 1 , wherein each flexible and bendy middle areas of the top and bottom frames are bended inwards for a quick and easy installation.
3 . The window mounted room air conditioner insulation and installation device according to claim 1 , wherein each flap is connected to its corresponding front perpendicular wall and it's faced against the air conditioner unit once closed.
4 . The window mounted room air conditioner insulation and installation device according to claim 1 , wherein the flexible version of the device is adjustable at the perpendicular wall areas in terms of the width of the device.
5 . The window mounted room air conditioner insulation and installation device according to claim 4 , wherein the flexible version of the device is adjustable at the perpendicular wall areas in terms of the height of the device.
6 . The window mounted room air conditioner insulation and installation device according to claim 1 , wherein all surface areas of the rectangular device are insulated.
7 . A method for installing a window mounted room air conditioner insulation and installation device in a window frame of a structure, comprise positioning a device in the window frame, the device comprising: a rectangular frame used as the chassis for adding all installation and insulation material; two flexible and bendy middle areas at the top and bottom of the rectangular frame which when bended inwards, allows the devise to fit into the open window area and when released, will spring back into its original rectangular shape, covering the whole window area; insulated flaps used to provide a better air seal between the air conditioner unit and the installation device and at the same time present a more aesthetic look of the device; open insulated flaps and place the air conditioner unit on the rectangular frame; place the unit halfway, sideways into the device and then push it from right to left until the whole window air conditioner unit is firmly seated in the middle of the window mounted room air conditioner insulation and installation device; move air conditioner unit slightly left and right so that it's seated in the middle of the window base; close insulated flaps for an enhanced insulation.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
