Abstract

Disclosed herein is a prophylactic or therapeutic agent for ocular fundus disease, especially diabetic retinopathy or age-related macular degeneration. The prophylactic or therapeutic agent for ocular fundus disease comprising: (S)-(−)-1-(4-fluoro-5-isoquinolinesulfonyl)-2-methyl-1,4-homopiperazine, a salt thereof, or a solvate thereof, as an active ingredient.

1 . A prophylactic or therapeutic agent for ocular fundus disease comprising:
 (S)-(−)-1-(4-fluoro-5-isoquinolinesulfonyl)-2-methyl-1,4-homopiperazine, a salt thereof, or a solvate thereof, as an active ingredient.   
     
     
         2 . The prophylactic or therapeutic agent according to  claim 1 , wherein the ocular fundus disease is diabetic retinopathy. 
     
     
         3 . The prophylactic or therapeutic agent according to  claim 1 , wherein the ocular fundus disease is diabetic macular edema. 
     
     
         4 . The prophylactic or therapeutic agent according to  claim 1 , wherein the ocular fundus disease is age-related macular degeneration. 
     
     
         5 . The prophylactic or therapeutic agent according to  claim 1 , which is an ophthalmic preparation. 
     
     
         6 . A pharmaceutical composition for preventing or treating ocular fundus disease, comprising:
 (S)-(−)-1-(4-fluoro-5-isoquinolinesulfonyl)-2-methyl-1,4-homopiperazine, a salt thereof, or a solvate thereof;   and a pharmaceutically-acceptable carrier.   
     
     
         7 . The pharmaceutical composition according to  claim 6 , wherein the ocular fundus disease is diabetic retinopathy. 
     
     
         8 . The pharmaceutical composition according to  claim 6 , wherein the ocular fundus disease is diabetic macular edema. 
     
     
         9 . The pharmaceutical composition according to  claim 6 , wherein the ocular fundus disease is age-related macular degeneration. 
     
     
         10 . The pharmaceutical composition according to  claim 6 , which is an ophthalmic preparation.
