Closet hanger for handbags

Abstract

A closet hanger for handbags is comprised of a single solid horizontal rod, having two upper hooks which may be hung from a closet rod in a substantially parallel configuration. The horizontal rod provides a plurality of lower hooks, from which handbags or other bulky articles may be hung. The upper hooks are permanently affixed to the horizontal rod by piercing the solid horizontal rod and are configured perpendicular to the horizontal rod.

I claim: 
     
         1 . A closet hanger for handbags, comprising:
 (a) a single solid horizontal rod having two ends;   (b) a plurality of permanently attached and stationary upper hooks being affixed near said ends of said horizontal rod;   (c) said plurality of upper hooks being angled perpendicular to a central axis of the horizontal rod from a top view;   (d) a plurality of lower hooks;   (e) flexible caps;   (f) said flexible caps covering said two ends of said horizontal rod;   (g) said plurality of upper hooks being configured to hang from a closet rod such that the horizontal rod is parallel to the closet rod.   
     
     
         2 . The closet hanger for handbags of  claim 1 , wherein said plurality of upper hooks is equal to two in number. 
     
     
         3 . The closet hanger for handbags of  claim 1 , wherein said plurality of upper hooks are affixed to said horizontal rod by piercing the horizontal rod. 
     
     
         4 . The closet hanger for handbags of  claim 1 , wherein said plurality of upper hooks are stationary and incapable of rotation or pivoting. 
     
     
         5 . The closet hanger for handbags of  claim 2 , wherein said plurality of upper hooks are affixed to said horizontal rod by piercing the horizontal rod. 
     
     
         6 . The closet hanger for handbags of  claim 2 , wherein said plurality of upper hooks are stationary and incapable of rotation or pivoting. 
     
     
         7 . The closet hanger for handbags of  claim 1 , wherein said plurality of lower hooks are equal to five in number. 
     
     
         8 . The closet hanger for handbags of  claim 1 , wherein said plurality of lower hooks are affixed to said horizontal rod by piercing the horizontal rod. 
     
     
         9 . The closet hanger for handbags of  claim 1 , wherein said plurality of lower hooks are stationary and incapable of rotation or pivoting. 
     
     
         10 . The closet hanger for handbags of  claim 7 , wherein said plurality of lower hooks are affixed to said horizontal rod by piercing the horizontal rod. 
     
     
         11 . The closet hanger for handbags of  claim 7 , wherein said plurality of lower hooks are stationary and incapable of rotation or pivoting. 
     
     
         12 . The closet hanger for handbags of  claim 1 , wherein said plurality of lower hooks are equally spaced across the horizontal rod. 
     
     
         13 . The closet hanger for handbags of  claim 7 , wherein said plurality of lower hooks are equally spaced across the horizontal rod.
