Systems and methods for dynamic mobile applications
Abstract
Various embodiments of the present disclosure are dynamic, cross-platform application architectures for devices. According to an exemplary embodiment of the present disclosure, an unconfigured configurable container application can be provided on a mobile device. The container application can be configured for a specific application according to configuration data for the specific application. Responsive to the container application being configured for the specific application, applicable content relating to the specific application can be received and loaded into the container application to provide content accessible to a user of the computing device.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modifiedWe claim:
1 . A method comprising:
providing, on a computing device, an unconfigured configurable container application; configuring the container application for a specific application according to configuration data for the specific application; responsive to configuring the container application for the specific application, receiving applicable content data relating to the specific application; and loading the applicable content data into the container application to provide content accessible to a user of the computing device.
2 . The method of claim 1 , wherein configuring the container application for the specific application comprises establishing a connection with a trusted source, the connection providing the trusted source access to the container application such that the trusted source can configure the container application.
3 . The method of claim 2 , wherein the trusted source configures the container application based on characteristics of the trusted source.
4 . The method of claim 1 , wherein configuring the container application for the specific application occurs responsive to receiving, at the computing device, a request from the user of the computing device for the specific application.
5 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the configuration data for the specific application comprises a user interface framework.
6 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the specific application comprises structure and logic to support content sequencing based on conditions.
7 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the applicable content data comprises a first set of applicable content data and a second set of applicable content data, and wherein loading the applicable content data comprises loading the first set of applicable content data, the method further comprising:
responsive to receiving the applicable content data, storing, in a local cache of the computing device, the second set of applicable content data; and responsive to determining the computing device is in a disconnected mode, loading the second set of applicable content data.
8 . The method of claim 1 , wherein receipt of the applicable content data relating to the specific application is controlled by a connection mode of the computing device.
9 . The method of claim 1 , wherein receipt of the applicable content data relating to the specific application is controlled by a connection speed of the computing device.
10 . The method of claim 1 , wherein receipt of the applicable content data relating to the specific application is controlled by a security level associated with the computing device.
11 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the specific application comprises structure and logic to connected and disconnected mode strategies.
13 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the container application can be dynamically configured for a specific purpose.
14 . The method of claim 1 , wherein configuration data for the specific application includes information relating to one or more of size, location, and orientation for the applicable content data applicable to the specific application.
15 . The method of claim 1 , wherein configuration data for the specific application comprises a function-specific configuration profile, the function-specific configuration profile being device independent.
16 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the applicable content data comprises subject-specific content material, the subject-specific content material being configuration independent.
17 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the configuration data comprises a graphical user interface framework and the applicable content data comprises graphical user interface contents.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
