Abstract
The mounting peg systems are provided in pairs and hold a single wine bottle in the curvature of the distal end of the peg person when persons want to expand their storage capability they can provide either double or triple peg mountings as desired.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modifiedWhat is claimed:
1 . A bottle storage system comprising:
a mounting surface constructed and arranged with a plurality of receiving cavities; a support peg constructed and arranged to attach to said mounting surface, said peg having a proximal end for mounting and a distal end with a convex curvature constructed and arranged for use in pairs and holding a bottle thereon.
2 . The system of claim 1 wherein said support peg has a convex curved surface, whereby the minimum diameter of the convex surface is approximately between 30-70% the diameter of the non convex surface.
3 . The system of claim 1 , whereby two support pegs are connected end to end utilizing a peg connector and said two connected support pegs attached to said mounting surface in a single receiving cavity.
4 . The system of claim 1 , whereby each convex curved surface is formed with an angular offset relative to a vertical plane perpendicular having a measurement between approximately 95 and 110°.
5 . The system of claim 3 where said two pegs are of substantially congruent lengths.
6 . The system of claim 3 where said two pegs are of different lengths.
7 . The system of claim 3 configured for supporting two or three bottles on a single pair of successively positioned mounting pegs whereby each bottle has a neck that nests in a single convex curvature of said support pegs connected end to end.
8 . A method of storing bottles, said method comprising the steps of:
providing a system of claim 1 ; mounting at least two pegs on said mounting surface in successive complimentary positions; positioning a bottle in a substantially horizontal orientation on said two pegs whereby said bottle has a neck that is positioned to nest in the convex portion of one of the mounting pegs.
9 . The method of claim 8 further comprising the steps of mounting an additional peg in an end to end arrangement on each of said two pegs on said mounting surface outward from said mounting surface, placing two bottles on said two pegs, each bottle having a bottle neck nesting in a single convex curvature.
10 . The method of claim 8 further comprising the steps of mounting an two additional pegs in an end to end arrangement on each of said two pegs on said mounting surface outward from said mounting surface, placing three bottles on said two pegs, each bottle having a bottle neck nesting in a single convex curvature.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
