a first end and a second end that are formed at opposite ends of a strap,
wherein each of said ends comprises a leaf portion flanking said strap and a bow portion, and
wherein said second end comprises at least one slit of sufficient width to permit insertion of said bow portion of said first end.
2 . The bow tie of claim 1 , wherein each of said ends further comprises a neck portion between said leaf portion and said bow portion.
3 . The bow tie of claim 1 , wherein said end portion is comprised of a convex curvature.
4 . The bow tie of claim 1 , wherein said end portion is comprised of a concave curvature.
5 . The bow tie of claim 1 , wherein said end portion is rectangular in shape.
6 . The bow tie of claim 1 , wherein said end portion transitions into a point.
7 . The bow tie of claim 1 , wherein said strap is of fixed length.
8 . The bow tie of claim 1 , wherein said strap comprises an adjustable member that is configured to make said strap adjustable in order to provide a secure fit.
9 . The adjustable member of claim 8 , wherein said adjustable member is selected from a group of adjustable members consisting of a hook and slide connection, a hook and loop fastener, clasp, and a button.
10 . A bow tie comprising:
a first end and a second end that are formed at opposite ends of a strap,
wherein each of said ends comprises a leaf portion flanking said strap, and a bow portion, and
wherein each of said first end and said second end comprises at least one slit of sufficient width to permit insertion of a bow portion of either the first end or the second end.
11 . The bow tie of claim 10 , wherein each of said ends further comprises a neck portion between said leaf portion and said bow portion.
12 . The bow tie of claim 10 , wherein said end portion is comprised of a convex curvature.
13 . The bow tie of claim 10 , wherein said end portion is comprised of a concave curvature.
14 . The bow tie of claim 10 , wherein said end portion is rectangular.
15 . The bow tie of claim 10 , wherein said end portion transitions into a point.
16 . The bow tie of claim 10 , wherein said strap is of fixed length.
17 . The bow tie of claim 10 , wherein said strap comprises an adjustable member that is configured to make said strap adjustable in order to provide a secure fit.
18 . The adjustable member of claim 17 , wherein said adjustable member is selected from a group of adjustable members consisting of a hook and slide connection, a hook and loop fastener, a clasp, and a button.
19 . A method for finishing the tying of a bow tie, wherein said bow tie has been tied, and wherein said bow tie is in such configuration that there is a first side and a second side that are formed at opposite ends of a centrally located knot, wherein each side has a looped portion and a terminal end, wherein the terminal end of a first side is in front of its corresponding looped portion, wherein the terminal end of a second side is behind its corresponding looped portion, and wherein there is a slit on the looped portion of said second side, comprising the steps of:
inserting said terminal end of said second side through said slit, pulling said terminal end of said second side so that the terminal end of said second side is in front of said looped portion of said second side, and adjusting each said looped portions and terminal ends of both said first side and second side for a desired finished look.
20 . The method of claim 19 , wherein the terminal end of the second side is pulled from the top or bottom of said bow tie.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
