Abstract

To provide a novel heterocyclic compound that can be used as a host material in which a light-emitting substance of a light-emitting layer is dispersed. A heterocyclic compound comprising a dibenzo[f,h]quinoxaline ring and two hole-transport skeletons, where the dibenzo[f,h]quinoxaline ring and the two hole-transport skeletons are bonded to an aromatic hydrocarbon group. A heterocyclic compound represented by the following general formula (G1) is provided. Note that in the formula, A 1 and A 2 each independently represent any of a substituted or unsubstituted carbazole skeleton, a substituted or unsubstituted dibenzofuran skeleton, and a substituted or unsubstituted dibenzothiophen skeleton; B represents a substituted or unsubstituted dibenzo[f,h]quinoxaline skeleton; and Ar represents an arene skeleton having 6 to 13 carbon atoms. A light-emitting element including the heterocyclic compound is provided.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
What is claimed is:

         1 . A heterocyclic compound comprising:
a dibenzo[f,h]quinoxaline ring; a first hole-transport skeleton; a second hole-transport skeleton; and an aromatic hydrocarbon group, wherein the dibenzo[f,h]quinoxaline ring, the first hole-transport skeleton and the second hole-transport skeleton are bonded to the aromatic hydrocarbon group.

2 . The heterocyclic compound according to claim 1 ,
wherein the aromatic hydrocarbon group is bonded to a 2-position of the dibenzo[f,h]quinoxaline ring.

3 . The heterocyclic compound according to claim 1 ,
wherein the first hole-transport skeleton includes a first it-electron rich heteroaromatic ring, and wherein the second hole-transport skeleton includes a second π-electron rich heteroaromatic ring.

4 . The heterocyclic compound according to claim 3 ,
wherein the first π-electron rich heteroaromatic ring and the second π-electron rich heteroaromatic ring are each independently selected from any one of a carbazole ring, a dibenzofuran ring, and a dibenzothiophene ring.

         5 . A light-emitting element comprising:
a pair of electrodes; and a layer containing an organic compound between the pair of electrodes, wherein the layer containing the organic compound includes the heterocyclic compound according to claim 1 .

6 . A light-emitting element according to claim 5 , further comprising a phosphorescent compound as a guest material in the layer.

7 . A light-emitting element according to claim 6 , wherein the phosphorescent compound have a diazine skeleton.

         8 . A light-emitting device comprising the light-emitting element according to claim 5 .

         9 . A lighting device comprising the light-emitting element according to claim 5 .

10 . An electronic device comprising the light-emitting element according to claim 5 .
