Ultra portable restroom system

Abstract

A portable restroom system, comprising an opaque poncho, a fecal bag, a urine bag, sanitary wipes, and a compact container bag receiving the poncho, fecal bag, urine bag, and sanitary wipes. By using an opaque material for the poncho and bags, the process of urinating or defecating is concealed. A specially designed fecal bag ensures waste is readily captured while wearing the poncho. In one embodiment, the poncho, fecal bag, urine bag and hygiene wipes are labeled and packed in separate pouches sized to fit in the container bag. The container bag may be a stand-alone bag or a pocket on the poncho. A method of using the system is also disclosed.

What is claimed is: 
     
         1 . A portable restroom system, comprising an opaque poncho, a fecal receptacle bag, a urine receptacle bag, sanitary wipes, and a compact container bag receiving the poncho, fecal receptacle bag, urine receptacle bag, and sanitary wipes. 
     
     
         2 . The portable restroom system set forth in  claim 1 , wherein said container bag comprises a pocket on the poncho into which the poncho can be folded. 
     
     
         3 . The portable restroom system in  claim 2 , wherein the pocket is located on an interior or exterior of the poncho at a front of the poncho, and wherein the pocket has a height, width and depth large enough to hold the fecal receptacle bag, the urine receptacle bag, and the sanitary wipes. 
     
     
         4 . The portable restroom system set forth in  claim 1 , wherein the container bag has a length of about 12 cm to about 19 cm in length, a width of about 9.5 cm to about 14 cm, and a depth of about 1.5 cm to about 4 cm. 
     
     
         5 . The portable restroom system in  claim 1 , wherein the main body includes a pair of arm openings, and wherein each arm opening is large enough to allow a respective arm bent at the elbow to move freely between positions inside and outside the poncho. 
     
     
         6 . The portable restroom system set forth in  claim 1 , wherein the poncho, the urine receptacle bag, the fecal receptacle bag, and the sanitary wipes are packaged in separate pouches sized for reception in the container bag, and wherein the pouches are labelled to identify the contents of the pouches as the pouches are removed from the container bag. 
     
     
         7 . The portable restroom system set forth in  claim 1 , wherein the poncho comprises a substantially rectangular main body having an upper end, a lower end, a first side, and a second side. 
     
     
         8 . The portable restroom system as set forth in  claim 1 , wherein the poncho has a hood connected to the upper end of the main body of the poncho. 
     
     
         9 . The portable restroom system as set forth in  claim 1 , wherein said poncho is configured to cover a body of the user from the shoulders to below the anus and genital areas when urinating or defecating in a standing, squatting, or sitting position. 
     
     
         10 . The portable restroom system as set forth in  claim 1 , wherein the poncho is fabricated from a material that is opaque, water proof, disposable and highly compactable. 
     
     
         11 . The portable restroom system as set forth in  claim 1 , wherein the poncho has a view opening configured to allow a person wearing the poncho to view an area inside the poncho corresponding to a front of the body of the wearer. 
     
     
         12 . The portable restroom system in  claim 11 , wherein the view opening extends down from a neck opening of the poncho down to a location generally corresponding to an area at the front of the body between a sternum and waist of said person, and wherein the view opening is configured to give said person a 180 degree view of the front of the body looking downward. 
     
     
         13 . The portable restroom system as set forth in  claim 11 , wherein the poncho has a main body and a neck opening in the main body, and wherein the view opening has a height not more than 40% of a length of the main body and a width not more than 140% of a diameter of the neck opening as measured across the neck opening in side-to-side (shoulder-to-shoulder) direction. 
     
     
         14 . The portable restroom system as set forth in  claim 1 , wherein the fecal receptacle bag comprises a bag portion having a closed bottom, an open top, and a peripheral sidewall extending between the top and bottom of the bag portion, side handles at opposite sides of the bag portion, and a front handle at a front of the bag portion. 
     
     
         15 . The portable restroom system as set forth in  claim 14 , wherein the top opening of the fecal receptacle bag is configured to extend across and cover buttocks of a user. 
     
     
         16 . The portable restroom system as set forth in  claim 14 , wherein the side handles are configured for accepting the hands of a user and being pulled around the buttocks to the front of the body. 
     
     
         17 . The portable restroom system as set forth in  claim 16 , wherein the front handle comprises a strap attached to the bag portion of the fecal receptacle bag adjacent a front corner of the bag portion, and wherein the strap is configured to be pulled under the crotch and held by a hand of the user at the front of the user's body. 
     
     
         18 . The portable restroom system as set forth in  claim 17 , wherein the fecal receptacle bag has instructions written on it directing the user where and how to grasp the side and front handles. 
     
     
         19 . The portable restroom system as set forth in  claim 17 , wherein the fecal receptacle bag is of a material that is opaque, water proof, disposable and highly compactable. 
     
     
         20 . The portable restroom system as set forth in  claim 1 , further comprising an outer fecal disposal bag for receiving the fecal receptacle bag after use, said outer fecal disposal bag being sealable. 
     
     
         21 . A method of using the portable restroom system of  claim 1 , said method comprising opening the containment bag, donning the poncho for privacy, selecting one of the urine and fecal receptacle bags, positioning the selected bag in a position for receiving urine or feces, urinating or defecating into the selected bag, using one or more of the wipes to clean self, and disposing of the selected bag and one or more used wipes. 
     
     
         22 . The method as set forth in  claim 21 , further comprising disposing of the poncho. 
     
     
         23 . The portable restroom system as set forth in  claim 1 , wherein the sanitary wipes are hygienic wipes.
