Mesh Fabric-Covered Seat Assembly of Office Chair

Abstract

A mesh fabric-covered seat assembly of an office chair includes a mesh fabric provided on a seat frame. A peripheral fitting strip is sewn to the left, front, and right sides of the mesh fabric and has sewing grooves to which the mesh fabric can be sewn. A peripheral fitting groove extends along the left, front, and right sides of the seat frame, and a fixing surface is formed by a rear portion of the bottom surface of the seat frame. To assemble, the mesh fabric is stretched so that the peripheral fitting strip can be tightly fitted into the peripheral fitting groove to keep the mesh fabric taut. Then, the rear end of the mesh fabric is tightly pulled and fixed to the fixing surface with staples. Since only one side of the mesh fabric needs stapling, the mesh fabric can be easily and rapidly installed.

What is claimed is: 
     
         1 . A mesh fabric-covered seat assembly of an office chair, comprising a mesh fabric tightly stretched over a seat frame in order to be sat on, characterized in that:
 the seat frame is peripherally and concavely provided with a continuous peripheral fitting groove extending along a left side, a front side, and a right side of the seat frame and has a fixing surface formed by a rear portion of a bottom surface of the seat frame; and   the mesh fabric is provided with a peripheral fitting strip sewn to and extending continuously along a left side, a front side, and a right side of the mesh fabric, the peripheral fitting strip is configured to be tightly fitted into the peripheral fitting groove, and the mesh fabric has a rear end to be tightly pulled and folded inward onto the bottom surface of the seat frame and fixed to the fixing surface with fasteners.   
     
     
         2 . The mesh fabric-covered seat assembly of  claim 1 , wherein the peripheral fitting strip has an upper side and a lower side each concavely provided with a sewing groove to which the mesh fabric is able to be sewn.
