Abstract

An adhesively attached shoe sole product with forward directed grooves to prevent a loss of traction when the foot is moving in a forward direction, the product conforming to the toe and outer perimeter of the shoe sole and being attached by a permanent or temporary adhesive to the existing shoe sole.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
What is claimed is:

1 . A shoe traction attachment applied to a lower sole of a right shoe or a left shoe at a front portion of said sole enhancing traction as a wearer moves his foot forward, said attachment comprising: a flat arch shaped curvilinear wafer defining an upper surface and a lower surface, said upper surface having a flat profile and providing an adhesive material to attach said upper surface to said sole of said shoe and said lower surface defining a plurality of concentric forward thrust extensions, said flat arch shaped curvilinear wafer conforming to a shape of said front portion of said sole, each said forward thrust extension having an axial line of projection in a forward direction to avert slippage in a forward direction during walking causing a loss of balance to the rear.

2 . The shoe traction attachment as disclosed in claim 1 , said adhesive material being a temporary adhesive allowing for removal of said attachment subsequent to intended use.

3 . The shoe traction attachment as disclosed in claim 1 , said adhesive material being a permanent adhesive for permanent placement of said upper surface of said attachment to said sole.

4 . The shoe traction attachment as disclosed in claim 1 , said forward thrust extensions forming a concentric pattern and extending across the entire said lower surface of said flat arch shaped curvilinear wafer.

5 . The shoe traction attachment as disclosed in claim 1 , said each forward thrust extension within the plurality is flexible and deformable, returning to a static position upon release of pressure upon each said forward thrust extension, and has a different length, dependant upon the contour of the sole to which it is applied.

6 . The shoe traction attachment as disclosed in claim 1 , said each forward thrust extension within the plurality is flexible and deformable, returning to a static position upon release of pressure upon each said forward thrust extension, and has a uniform length.
