Abstract

A fencing assembly includes a plurality of corner posts that may be positioned to abut a support surface. Each of the corner posts is positioned on the support surface with respect to each other such that each of the corner posts defines an associated one of four corners of a rectangle. A pair of central posts may be positioned to abut the support surface. Each of the central posts is positioned between an associated pair of the corner posts. A plurality of panels is provided and each of the panels is positioned between the corner posts and the central posts to define a fence.

I claim:

1 . A fencing assembly configured to allow entry into any point along a fence, said assembly comprising:
a plurality of corner posts, each of said corner posts being configured to abut a support surface, each of said corner posts being positioned on the support surface with respect to each other such that each of said corner posts defines an associated one of four corners of a rectangle; a pair of central posts, each of said central posts being configured to abut the support surface, each of said central posts being positioned between an associated pair of said corner posts; and a plurality of panels, each of said panels being positioned between said corner posts and said central posts to define a fence.

2 . The assembly according to claim 1 , wherein each of said corner posts has a top end, a bottom end and a peripheral surface extending between said top end and said bottom end, said peripheral surface of each of said corner posts having a pair of grooves extending inwardly therein, said pair of grooves in each of said corner posts extending between said top end and said bottom end, said pair of grooves on each of said corner posts being oriented to form a right angle with each other, said bottom end of each of said corner posts being configured to abut the support surface.

3 . The assembly according to claim 2 , wherein said bottom end of each of said corner posts has a stake extending downwardly therefrom wherein said stake is configured to penetrate the support surface such that each of said corners posts is retained in an upright position with respect to the support surface.

4 . The assembly according to claim 1 , wherein:
each of said corner posts has a pair of grooves; and each of said central posts has an upper end, a lower end and an external surface extending between said upper end and said lower end, each of said central posts being elongated between said upper end and said lower end, said external surface of each of said central posts having a pair of slots extending inwardly therein, said pair of slots on each of said central posts being laterally aligned with each other, said lower end of each of said central posts being configured to abut the support surface such that said slots in each of said central posts is aligned with an associated one of said grooves in an associated pair of said corner posts.

5 . The assembly according to claim 4 , wherein said lower end of each of said central posts having a stake extending downwardly therefrom wherein said stake is configured to penetrate the support surface such that each of said central posts is retained in an upright position with respect to the support surface.

6 . The assembly according to claim 1 , wherein each of said panels comprises a frame having a pair of lateral arms coupled to and extending between a pair of longitudinal arms, said longitudinal arms being spaced apart from each other such that said frame has a rectangular shape.

7 . The assembly according to claim 6 , wherein:
each of said corner posts has a pair of grooves; each of said central posts has a pair of slots; and said frame being positioned to removably extend between a selected one of said central posts and one of an associated pair of said corner posts having said longitudinal arms slidably engaging said slot and said groove.

8 . The assembly according to claim 6 , further comprising a mesh extending between said lateral arms and said longitudinal arms, said mesh being configured to prevent an animal from passing through said frame.

9 . A fencing assembly configured to allow entry into any point along a fence, said assembly comprising:
a plurality of corner posts, each of said corner posts having a top end, a bottom end and a peripheral surface extending between said top end and said bottom end, said peripheral surface of each of said corner posts having a pair of grooves extending inwardly therein, said pair of grooves in each of said corner posts extending between said top end and said bottom end, said pair of grooves on each of said corner posts being oriented to form a right angle with each other, said bottom end of each of said corner posts being configured to abut a support surface, each of said corner posts being positioned on the support surface with respect to each other such that each of said corner posts defines an associated one of four corners of a rectangle, said bottom end of each of said corner posts having a stake extending downwardly therefrom wherein said stake is configured to penetrate the support surface such that each of said corners posts is retained in an upright position with respect to the support surface; a pair of central posts, each of said central posts having an upper end, a lower end and an external surface extending between said upper end and said lower end, each of said central posts being elongated between said upper end and said lower end, said external surface of each of said central posts having a pair of slots extending inwardly therein, said pair of slots on each of said central posts being laterally aligned with each other, said lower end of each of said central posts being configured to abut the support surface, each of said central posts being positioned between an associated pair of said corner posts such that said slots in each of said central posts is aligned with an associated one of said grooves in said associated pair of corner posts, said lower end of each of said central posts having a stake extending downwardly therefrom wherein said stake is configured to penetrate the support surface such that each of said central posts is retained in an upright position with respect to the support surface; and a plurality of panels, each of said panels being positioned between said corner posts and said central posts to define a fence, each of said panels comprising
a frame having a pair of lateral arms coupled to and extending between a pair of longitudinal arms, said longitudinal arms being spaced apart from each other such that said frame has a rectangular shape, said frame being positioned to removably extend between a selected one of said central posts and one of said associated pair of corner posts having said longitudinal arms slidably engaging said slot and said groove, and
a mesh extending between said lateral arms and said longitudinal arms, said mesh being configured to prevent an animal from passing through said frame.
