Multi-layered pillow cover

Abstract

A pillow cover assembly includes a plurality of layers of pillow sheets bound together on one edge that can be flipped around the bound end like a book; an attachment system configured to attach the pillow sheets to pillow or a pillow case configured to house the pillow, wherein the attachment system is a plurality of straps with fasteners at each end; and a holding mechanism attached to a bottom layer of the plurality of layers of pillow sheets. Each layer of pillow sheets above the bottom layer has a hole in a position corresponding to a point of attachment of the holding mechanism on the bottom sheet, where the holding mechanism goes through the holes, and each layer of pillow sheets is longer than the one below.

What is claimed is: 
     
         1 . A pillow cover assembly comprising:
 a plurality of layers of pillow sheets bound together on one edge that can be flipped around the bound end like a book;   an attachment system configured to attach the pillow sheets to pillow or a pillow case configured to house the pillow, wherein the attachment system is a plurality of straps with fasteners at each end; and   a holding mechanism attached to a bottom layer of the plurality of layers of pillow sheets, wherein each layer of pillow sheets above the bottom layer has a hole in a position corresponding to a point of attachment of the holding mechanism on the bottom sheet, wherein the holding mechanism goes through the holes,   wherein each layer of pillow sheets is longer than the one below.   
     
     
         2 . The pillow cover assembly of  claim 1 , wherein the fasteners comprise fabric hook and loop fasteners. 
     
     
         3 . The pillow cover assembly of  claim 1 , wherein each layer of sheets is approximately 18 inches wide. 
     
     
         4 . The pillow cover assembly of  claim 3 , wherein each layer of sheets is approximately 24-31 inches long. 
     
     
         5 . The pillow cover assembly of  claim 1 , wherein each layer of sheets is made of satin/polyester or satin/silk or mulberry silk satin. 
     
     
         6 . The pillow cover assembly of  claim 1  preferably has 5-7 layers of sheets. 
     
     
         7 . The pillow cover assembly of  claim 1  further comprising a pillow covering which is wrapped around the pillow sheets to protect the clean sheets. 
     
     
         8 . The pillow cover assembly of  claim 1 , wherein each layer of sheets comprises a layer of cotton stitched into a polyester sheet. 
     
     
         9 . The pillow cover assembly of  claim 1 , wherein the holding mechanism includes a pair of strings, a pair of Velcro straps, or a button. 
     
     
         10 . A pillow cover assembly comprising:
 a plurality of layers of pillow sheets bound together on one edge that can be flipped around the bound end like a book;   a pillow covering which is wrapped around the pillow sheets to protect the clean sheets;   an attachment system configured to attach the pillow sheets to pillow or a pillow case configured to house the pillow, wherein the attachment system is a plurality of straps with fasteners at each end; and   a holding mechanism attached to a bottom layer of the plurality of layers of pillow sheets, wherein each layer of pillow sheets above the bottom layer has a hole in a position corresponding to a point of attachment of the holding mechanism on the bottom sheet, wherein the holding mechanism goes through the holes.   
     
     
         11 . The pillow cover assembly of  claim 10 , wherein the fasteners comprise fabric hook and loop fasteners. 
     
     
         12 . The pillow cover assembly of  claim 10 , wherein each layer of sheets is approximately 18 inches wide. 
     
     
         13 . The pillow cover assembly of  claim 12 , wherein each layer of sheets is approximately 24-31 inches long. 
     
     
         14 . The pillow cover assembly of  claim 10 , wherein each layer of sheets is made of satin/polyester or satin/silk or mulberry silk satin. 
     
     
         15 . The pillow cover assembly of  claim 10  preferably has 5-7 layers of sheets. 
     
     
         16 . The pillow cover assembly of  claim 10 , wherein each layer of sheets is one inch longer than the one below. 
     
     
         17 . The pillow cover assembly of  claim 10 , wherein each layer of sheets comprises a layer of cotton stitched into a polyester sheet. 
     
     
         18 . The pillow cover assembly of  claim 10 , wherein the holding mechanism includes a pair of strings, a pair of Velcro straps, or a button.
