Abstract

A user information processing method including receiving use history information from a plurality of terminals associated with a same user, the use history information being stored in each terminal; storing the use history information; generating updated user profile information based on the use history information and past user profile information; selecting suitable content based on the updated user profile information; and transmitting the selected content to one of the terminals. Also disclosed is a server system for implementing the foregoing,

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
What is claimed is:

1 . One or more information processing servers comprising circuitry configured to
receive use history information from a plurality of terminals associated with a same user, the use history information being stored in each terminal; store the use history information; generate updated user profile information based on the use history information and past user profile information; select suitable content based on the updated user profile information; and transmit the selected content to one of the terminals.

2 . The one or more information processing servers according to claim 1 , wherein the use history information includes viewing history information, selecting information, searching information, terminal position information, or any combination of them.

3 . The one or more information processing servers according to claim 1 , wherein the server overwrites currently stored user profile information with the updated user profile information.

4 . Computer readable memory comprising computer executable instructions that when executed by one or more computers cause the computers to:
receive use history information from a plurality of terminals associated with a same user, the use history information being stored in each terminal; store the use history information; generate updated user profile information based on the use history information and past user profile information; select suitable content based on the updated user profile information; and transmit the selected content to one of the terminals.

5 . The computer readable memory of claim 4 , wherein the use history information includes viewing history information, selecting information, searching information, terminal position information, or any combination of them.

6 . The computer readable memory of claim 4 , wherein the instructions cause the one or more computers to overwrite currently stored user profile information with the updated user profile information.

7 . A method executed by one or more computers comprising:
receiving use history information from a plurality of terminals associated with a same user, the use history information being stored in each terminal; storing the use history information; generating updated user profile information based on the use history information and past user profile information; selecting suitable content based on the updated user profile information; and transmitting the selected content to one of the terminals.

8 . The method of claim 7 , wherein the use history information includes viewing history information, selecting information, searching information, terminal position information, or any combination of them.

9 . The method of claim 7 , wherein the further comprising overwriting currently stored user profile information with the updated user profile information.
