Abstract

A defibrillator training system having a magnetic training pad connectable to a torso dummy. The magnetic connection between the training pad and the torso dummy allows the defibrillator training pads to be re-used by being magnetically attached and detached to and from the torso dummy without requiring replacement pads.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
What is claimed is:

1 . A magnetic defibrillator training torso cover comprising:
a skin layer removably attachable to a training torso formed as at least a part of a human torso, the skin layer formed as a continuous surface to appear as a chest and abdomen area of the torso, the skin layer configured to cover a top surface of the training torso; and wherein the skin layer comprises a first magnetic region comprising one of a magnetic metal and a magnet, and a second magnetic region comprising one of a magnetic metal and a magnet, each of the first and second magnetic regions configured to have one of a pair of magnetic training pads magnetically connected thereto.

2 . The magnetic defibrillator training torso cover of claim 1 further comprising the skin layer attached to the training torso.

3 . The magnetic defibrillator training torso cover of claim 1 further comprising a pair of magnetic training pads connectable to the first and second magnetic region of the skin layer.

4 . The magnetic defibrillator training torso cover of claim 1 further comprising a pair of magnetic training pads, one of the pair magnetically connected to the first magnetic region, the other of the pair magnetically connected to the second magnetic region.

5 . The magnetic defibrillator training torso cover of claim 4 wherein the skin layer extends beneath an entirety of both of the training pads when magnetically connected the magnet is a magnetic piece.

6 . The magnetic defibrillator training torso cover of claim 1 further comprising a first marking outline about a perimeter of the first magnetic region, and a second marking outline about a perimeter of the second magnetic region.

7 . A magnetic defibrillator training torso cover comprising:
a skin layer attached to a training torso, the training torso formed as at least a part of a human torso, the skin layer formed as a continuous surface to appear as a chest and abdomen area of the torso, the skin layer covering a top surface of the training torso; and wherein the skin layer comprises a first magnetic region comprising one of a magnetic metal and a magnet, and a second magnetic region comprising one of a magnetic metal and a magnet, each of the first and second magnetic regions configured to have one of a pair of magnetic training pads magnetically connected thereto.

8 . The magnetic defibrillator training torso cover of claim 7 further comprising a pair of magnetic training pads connectable to the first and second magnetic region of the skin layer.

9 . The magnetic defibrillator training torso cover of claim 7 further comprising a pair of magnetic training pads, one of the pair magnetically connected to the first magnetic region, the other of the pair magnetically connected to the second magnetic region.

10 . The magnetic defibrillator training torso cover of claim 9 wherein the skin layer extends beneath an entirety of both of the training pads when magnetically connected the magnet is a magnetic piece.

11 . The magnetic defibrillator training torso cover of claim 7 further comprising a first marking outline about a perimeter of the first magnetic region, and a second marking outline about a perimeter of the second magnetic region.

12 . A magnetic defibrillator training torso cover comprising:
a skin layer removably attachable to a training torso formed as at least a part of a human torso, the skin layer formed as a continuous surface to appear as a chest and abdomen area of the torso, the skin layer configured to cover a top surface of the training torso; wherein the skin layer comprises a first magnetic region comprising one of a magnetic metal and a magnet, and a second magnetic region comprising one of a magnetic metal and a magnet; and a pair of magnetic training pads connectable to the first and second magnetic region of the skin layer.

13 . The magnetic defibrillator training torso cover of claim 7 further comprising a first marking outline about a perimeter of the first magnetic region, and a second marking outline about a perimeter of the second magnetic region.
