Scarf with Pockets and Hood

Abstract

A scarf having pockets near the ends of the scarf wherein pockets are created by attaching patch pockets to the scarf near the ends of the scarf, or by folding the ends of the scarf and sewing the sides to create a pocket. A scarf having pockets and hood.

1 . A scarf having pockets comprising, an elongate rectangular scarf, wherein the rectangular scarf has two edges and two ends, further having pockets near the ends of the scarf wherein pockets are created by attaching patch pockets to the scarf near the ends of the scarf, or by folding the ends of the scarf and sewing the sides to create a pocket. 
     
     
         2 . The scarf of  claim 1  further comprising a front closure to attach one edge of the scarf to the second edge of the scarf. 
     
     
         3 . The scarf of  claim 2 , wherein the closure is selected from the group consisting of a round button, toggle button, snap and hook and loop fastener. 
     
     
         4 . The scarf of  claim 1 , further comprising a closure on the top edge of at least one pocket. 
     
     
         5 . The scarf of  claim 4 , wherein the closure is selected from the group consisting of hook and loop fastener, zipper, button and snap. 
     
     
         6 . The scarf of  claim 1  further comprising a hood attached to the middle of'one edge of the scarf. 
     
     
         7 . The scarf of  claim 6  wherein the hood is lined with soft material such as fleece or fur. 
     
     
         8 . The scarf of  claim 6 , further comprising a front closure to attach one edge of the scarf to the second edge of the scarf, wherein the closure is a round button, toggle button, snap or hook and loop fastener. 
     
     
         9 . The scarf of  claim 6 , further comprising at least one closure on the top edge of at least one pocket wherein the closure is hook and loop fastener or a zipper or button or snap. 
     
     
         10 . The scarf of  claim 6 , further comprising ornamentation on the hood, such as cat ears or bunny ears. 
     
     
         11 . The scarf of  claim 1  produced in a variety of styles, colors, materials and sizes and ornamentation. 
     
     
         12 . The scarf of  claim 6  produced in a variety of styles, colors, materials and sizes and ornamentation.
