Claims

Abstract

A nutraceutical supplement for providing enhanced mitochondrial energizing activity and reduced inflammation, thereby resulting in enhanced resistance to training injuries and diseases and enhances peak athletic performance. The supplement may be provided as a formulation including Coenzyme Q10, d-Ribose, Boswellia and Curcumin. These ingredients may provide enhanced mitochondrial energizing activity and reduced stress, inflammation and injuries.

What is claimed is: 
     
         1 . A nutritional supplement for increasing cellular energy, enhancing healing, and/or preventing and reducing inflammation, consisting essentially of:
 2,000 mg of a Coenzyme Q10 complex, the complex consisting essentially of 400 mg hydrosoluble Coenzyme Q10 or 2,000 mg Coenzyme Q10 Gamma Cyclodextrin complex;   10,000 mg of d-Ribose;   4,000 mg of Glycine Propionyl-L-Carnitine Hydrochloride, or an equivalent salt thereof;   800 mg of Turmeric, Curcumin, or a bioavailable Curcumin Complex;   800 mg of Boswellia, Boswellia extract, or Boswellin.   
     
     
         2 . A method for increasing cellular energy, enhancing healing, and/or preventing and reducing inflammation in horses in need thereof, comprising:
 adding an effective amount of the equine nutritional supplement according to  claim 1 , to the horse's feed; and   feeding the supplemented feed to the horse on at least a daily basis.   
     
     
         3 . The method of  claim 2  herein the supplement feed is fed to the horse twice a day. 
     
     
         4 . The method of  claim 2 , wherein the dosage for foals, yearlings, small animals, and humans, depends on the recipient of the dosage, and the weight of the recipient.
