Abstract

Provided is a method of uploading data to a data server with minimum manipulations and downloading or retrieving the uploaded data by using a user's mobile terminal or a user-designated recipient's mobile terminal. A data upload method used by a computer system includes: monitoring whether a data upload shortcut command is input; selecting an object to be uploaded when an input of the data upload shortcut command is sensed; and transmitting an upload file, which consists of data of the selected object, to a data server.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
What is claimed is:

         1 . A data upload method used by a computer system, the method comprising:
 monitoring, by an agent application which is executed in a background mode by an operating system that controls the computer system, whether a first shortcut key is input; in response to sensing the input of the first shortcut key by the result of the monitoring, transmitting, by the agent application, a block-designated text displayed on a graphic user interface (GUI) of a user application, without any additional input, to a first predetermined device, wherein the block-designated text is designated by an user input before the first shortcut key is input.

         2 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the user application is different from the agent application.

         3 . The method of claim 2 , wherein the user application is a currently activated user application in a plurality of user applications being executed on the operating system.

         4 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the transmitting comprises:
 identifying a device which is allocated to the first shortcut key; and determining the device as the first predetermined device.

         5 . The method of claim 1 further comprising:
 monitoring, by the agent application, whether a second shortcut key is input;
 in response to sensing the input of the second shortcut key by the result of the monitoring, transmitting, by the agent application, the block-designated text which is transmitted to the first predetermined device, without any additional input, to a second predetermined device,
 wherein the second shortcut key is different from the first shortcut key, and the second predetermined device is different from the first predetermined device.
