Abstract

A golf club having at least one directional based graphic on the golf club it disclosed. More specifically, the golf club in accordance with the present invention will have at least one directional based graphic that will only be visible when the golf club is oriented in a desirable direction while staying invisible in all other undesirable directions.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
1 - 20 . (canceled)

         21 . A golf club comprising:
a golf club head; a shaft extending from the head; a grip disposed on the shaft distal from the head; and at least one directional based graphic disposed on a surface of the golf club, the at least one directional based graphic being visible when in a first orientation relative to a golfer and not visible when in a second orientation relative to the golfer.

22 . The golf club of claim 21 , wherein the at least one directional based graphic comprises a structure that selectively controls the viewing of the at least one directional based graphic.

23 . The golf club of claim 22 , wherein the at least one structure comprises:
a plurality of lenticular lenses each having a convex external surface at an external portion of the at least one structure; and a graphic panel underlying the plurality of lenticular lenses, wherein the plurality of lenticular lenses determines whether the graphic panel is visible.

24 . The golf club of claim 23 , wherein the plurality of lenticular lenses does not alter a line of sight when viewed by the golfer from the first orientation.

25 . The golf club of claim 24 , wherein the first orientation comprises an angle substantially perpendicular to the graphic panel.

26 . The golf club of claim 23 , wherein the plurality of lenticular lenses alters a line of sight when viewed by the golfer from the second orientation.

27 . The golf club of claim 26 , wherein the second orientation comprises an angle that is not substantially perpendicular to the graphic panel.

28 . The golf club of claim 22 , wherein the at least one structure comprises:
a fluid chamber; an clear fluid within the fluid chamber; a graphic panel attached to a surface within the fluid chamber; and a sleeve that travels within the fluid chamber, wherein the sleeve does not cover the graphic panel when the directional based graphic is in the first orientation and does cover the graphic panel when the directional based graphic is in the second orientation.

29 . The golf club of claim 22 , wherein the at least one structure comprises:
a fluid chamber; an opaque fluid within the fluid chamber; and a graphic panel having a visible surface and attached to an internal surface of the fluid chamber, wherein a position of the opaque fluid within the fluid chamber determines whether the graphic panel is visible to a viewer.

30 . The golf club of claim 29 , wherein the opaque fluid moves away from the visible surface of the graphic panel when the directional based graphic is in the first orientation.

31 . The golf club of claim 29 , wherein the opaque fluid covers the visible surface of the graphic panel when the directional based graphic is in the second orientation.

32 . The golf club of claim 22 , wherein the structure comprises an accelerometer configured to determine whether the directional based graphic is visible based on a desirable angle.
