Abstract

The application provides for a system and method of playing an educational balancing game. An electronic game spinner is used to select a category to be tested, as well as a specific question within this category. Once the specific question has been selected, potential answers are shown on an electronic game board whereby a user must then use their body to select a circle containing an answer. The game board may also be constructed out of plastic, where the answers are fixed, however, the electronic game spinner scans a code on the game board so that appropriate questions are used with the printed answer selections.

 said answer grid comprising
 a plurality of answer zones each corresponding to an answer in said question/answer subset,
 wherein said plurality of answer zones are non-uniformly sized, and
 wherein said plurality of answer zones move around said touch-sensitized display until selected by said at least one additional user;

   h. selecting by at least one additional user or said first user, one of said plurality of answer zones, by placing an appendage on said answer; i. repeating, steps b through h, as desired.

         2 . (canceled)

         3 . (canceled)

         4 . (canceled)

         5 . The method of claim 1 , wherein said random selection process comprises displaying a plurality of representations of said plurality of question/answer subsets and selecting said plurality of representations based on an input by said first user.

         6 . The method of claim 6 , wherein said random selection process is displayed as a spinning wheel and said user input is to stop said spinning wheel.

         7 . The method of claim 7 , wherein said spinning wheel is stylized.

         8 . The method of claim 1 , where said random selection process comprises a digital spinner randomly selecting a category, and subsequently selecting a random question within said category.

         9 . A gaming apparatus, comprising:
 at least one electronic game board, comprising:
 a bottom surface;
 a top surface,
 wherein said top surface is disposed with at least one touch-sensitized display;

 a memory, disposed between said top surface and said bottom surface;
 a processor, disposed between said top surface and said bottom surface;
 a wireless transceiver, disposed between said top surface and said bottom surface;
 a power source,
 wherein said power source is in electronic communication with said memory, said processor, said wireless transceiver; and

   a prompter, comprising:
 a bottom surface;
 a top surface,
 wherein said top surface is disposed with a touch-sensitized display;

 a memory, disposed between said top surface and said bottom surface;
 a processor, disposed between said top surface and said bottom surface;
 a wireless transceiver, disposed between said top surface and said bottom surface;
 a power source,
 wherein said power source is in electronic communication with said memory, said processor, said wireless transceiver;

 wherein said prompter is in electronic communication with said at least one electronic game board.

         10 . The gaming apparatus of claim 9 , wherein said at least one electronic game board has a plurality of touch-sensitized displays.

         11 . The gaming apparatus of claim 9 , wherein said at least one electronic game board further comprises at least one speaker.

         12 . The gaming apparatus of claim 9 , wherein said at least one electronic game board is a plurality of electronic game boards,
 wherein said plurality of electronic game boards are removably detachable from each other.

         13 . The gaming apparatus of claim 12 , wherein said plurality of electronic game boards show complimentary images on said at least one touch-sensitized display upon the removable detachment of said plurality of electronic game boards.
