Apparatuses for transmitting uplink control information

Abstract

A communication device includes a receiving circuit, an uplink control information generating circuit, a transmitting circuit and a control circuit. The receiving circuit is configured to operably receive an uplink-downlink (UL-DL) reconfiguration message from a communication station. The uplink control information generating circuit is configured to operably generate a plurality of uplink control information (UCI). The transmitting circuit is configured to operably transmit the UCI in a plurality of data frames, and each of the data frames includes a plurality of subframes. The control circuit is configured to operably determine the communication device to operate in one or more UL-DL configurations of a first UCI configuration set according to the UL-DL reconfiguration message. The UL-DL configurations are grouped into at least the first UCI configuration set and a second UCI configuration set and the first UCI configuration set and the second UCI configuration set include different UL-DL configurations.

What is claimed is: 
     
         1 . A communication device, comprising:
 a receiving circuit configured to operably receive an uplink-downlink (UL-DL) reconfiguration message from a communication station;   an uplink control information generating circuit configured to operably generate a plurality of uplink control information (UCI);   a transmitting circuit configured to operably transmit the UCI in a plurality of data frames, wherein each of the data frames comprises a plurality of subframes; and   a control circuit configured to operably determine the communication device to operate in one or more UL-DL configurations of a first UCI configuration set according to the UL-DL reconfiguration message;   wherein the UL-DL configurations are grouped into at least the first UCI configuration set and a second UCI configuration set; the first UCI configuration set and the second UCI configuration set comprise different UL-DL configurations.   
     
     
         2 . The communication device of  claim 1 , wherein a reporting period of the UCI of the first UCI configuration set is shorter than a reporting period of the UCI of the second UCI configuration set. 
     
     
         3 . The communication device of  claim 1 , wherein the first UCI configuration set and the second UCI configuration set are respectively associated with one or more UCI report configurations, and the first UCI configuration set and the second UCI configuration set comprise at least one different UCI report configuration. 
     
     
         4 . A communication station, configured to operably communicate with a communication device, comprising:
 a control circuit configured to operably generate an uplink-downlink (UL-DL) reconfiguration message for configuring a UL-DL configuration of the communication device;   a transmitting circuit configured to operably transmit the UL-DL reconfiguration message to the communication device; and   a receiving circuit configured to operably receive uplink control information (UCI) transmitted by the communication device;   wherein the UL-DL reconfiguration message configures the communication device to operate in one or more UL-DL configurations of a first UCI configuration set; the UL-DL configurations are grouped into at least the first UCI configuration set and a second UCI configuration set; and the first UCI configuration set and the second UCI configuration set comprise different UL-DL configurations.   
     
     
         5 . The communication station of  claim 4 , wherein a reporting period of the UCI of the first UCI configuration set is shorter than a reporting period of the UCI of the second UCI configuration set. 
     
     
         6 . The communication station of  claim 4 , wherein the first UCI configuration set and the second UCI configuration set are respectively associated with one or more UCI report configurations, and the first UCI configuration set and the second UCI configuration set comprise at least one different UCI report configuration.
