Information processing apparatus and phase output method for determining phrases based on an image
Abstract
In one aspect, an information processing system for determining complimentary phrases to present to a recipient is provided. The information processing system may receive an input image depicting a subject. A difference in appearance between the subject depicted in the input image and a model subject may be determined. One or more phrases (e.g., complimentary phrases) may be selected from a plurality of categorized phrase candidates based on the identified difference in appearance between the subject and the model subject. The difference in appearance may be determined by comparing selected features (e.g., skin, hair, eyes) of the subject with one or more predetermined features of the model subject. The model subject may be the same or different than the subject depicted in the input image.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modifiedWhat is claimed is:
1 . An information processing device, comprising:
One or more processors configured to:
receive an input image captured by an image sensor;
analyze the input image to identify a person in the input image, wherein the identified person in the input image is a user of the information processing device or other person than the user;
retrieve one or more phrase candidates based on the identified person; and
output, to an output device, at least one of the retrieved one or more phrase candidates,
wherein the retrieved one or more phrase candidates are presented to the user via a graphical user interface for selection.
2 . The information processing device according claim 1 , wherein the one or more processors are configured to:
display the input image depicting the identified person on the graphical user interface; determine a feature of the identified person selected by the user; and retrieve one or more phrase candidates for further selection by the user, the one or more phrase candidates being retrieved based on the feature of the identified person selected by the user.
3 . The information processing device according claim 2 , wherein the processor is configured to:
display the one or more phrase candidates based on the feature of the identified person on the graphical user interface for selection by the user; and output a phrase candidate from the one or more phrase candidates based on the selection.
4 . The information processing device according claim 1 , wherein the one or more processors are configured to:
output a different phrase from the one or more phrase candidates for each of the plurality of persons, in an event a plurality of persons are identified in the input image.
5 . The information processing device according to claim 1 , wherein the one or more processors are configured to identify a difference in appearance between the identified person in the input image and a model subject by comparing one or more features of the identified person extracted from an analysis of the input image with one or more predetermined features of the model subject.
6 . The information processing device according to claim 5 , wherein the one or more processors are configured to select the one or more phrases from a plurality of phrase candidates based on a determined category of the identified difference in appearance between the identified person depicted in the input image and the model subject.
7 . The information processing device according to claim 5 , wherein the one or more processors are configured to select the model subject based on a prior image or images of the identified person depicted in the input image.
8 . The information processing device according to claim 5 , wherein the one or more processors are configured to select the model subject based on an image or images of one or more average subjects, the one or more average subjects being different from the identified person depicted in the input image.
9 . The information processing device according to claim 5 , wherein the one or more processors are configured to determine a degree of the identified difference in appearance between the identified person and the model subject.
10 . The information processing device according to claim 9 , wherein the one or more processors are configured to select the one or more phrases from a plurality of phrase candidates in an event the determined degree of the identified difference in appearance between the identified person and the model subject exceeds a predetermined threshold.
11 . The information processing device according to claim 5 , wherein the model subject is selected from one of a plurality of selectable model subjects based on input received from a user.
12 . A computer-implemented method, comprising:
receiving an input image captured by an image sensor; analyzing the input image to identify a person in the input image, wherein the identified person in the input image is a user of the information processing device or another person who does not own the information processing device; retrieving one or more phrase candidates based on the identified person; and outputting, to an output device, at least one of the retrieved one or more phrase candidates, wherein the retrieved one or more phrase candidates are presented to the user via a graphical user interface for selection.
13 . A non-transitory computer-readable medium having stored thereon, a set of computer-executable instructions for causing a computer to perform steps comprising:
receiving an input image captured by an image sensor; analyzing the input image to identify a person in the input image, wherein the identified person in the input image is a user of the information processing device or another person who does not own the information processing device; retrieving one or more phrase candidates based on the identified person; and outputting, to an output device, at least one of the retrieved one or more phrase candidates, wherein the retrieved one or more phrase candidates are presented to the user via a graphical user interface for selection.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
