Abstract

A lightweight tape dispenser comprises a seat and a cover. The seat comprises a cutting portion for installing and cutting a tape, and a support portion connecting to the cutting portion and supporting the cutting portion to be placed on a surface. The support portion comprises a first pivotal portion and a first adhesion portion for adhering to the surface. The cover is pivotally connected to the support portion, and comprises a second pivotal portion pivotally engaged with the first pivotal portion, and a covering portion connected to the second pivotal portion and formed at an area larger than that of the first adhesion portion. The covering portion comprises a first position at which the covering portion covers the first adhesion portion, and a second position at which the covering portion is disengaged from the first adhesion portion to make the first adhesion portion adhere to the surface.

What is claimed is: 
     
         1 . A lightweight tape dispenser, comprising:
 a seat, comprising a cutting portion for installing and cutting a tape, and a support portion connecting to the cutting portion and supporting the cutting portion to be placed on a surface; the support portion comprising a first pivotal portion, and a first adhesion portion that can be used to adhere to the surface; and   a cover, pivotally connected to the support portion, comprising a second pivotal portion pivotally engaged with the first pivotal portion and a covering portion which is connected to the second pivotal portion and formed at an area larger than that of the first adhesion portion; the covering portion comprising a first position at which the covering portion covers the first adhesion portion, and a second position at which the covering portion is disengaged from the first adhesion portion to make the first adhesion portion adhere to the surface.   
     
     
         2 . The lightweight tape dispenser of  claim 1 , wherein the cutting portion comprises a shaft portion for installing the tape and enabling the tape to rotate relative to the support portion, and a blade portion for cutting the tape. 
     
     
         3 . The lightweight tape dispenser of  claim 1 , wherein the cover comprises a latch portion connecting to the covering portion; the seat comprising a first limiting portion engaged with the latch portion when the cover is at the first position, and a second limiting portion engaged with the latch portion when the cover is at the second position. 
     
     
         4 . The lightweight tape dispenser of  claim 1 , wherein the covering portion at the second position comprises a first plane facing the surface, and the first adhesion portion comprises a second plane, wherein a level of the first plane is equal or higher than that of the second plane. 
     
     
         5 . The lightweight tape dispenser of  claim 4 , wherein the cover comprises a gap section located between the second pivotal portion and the first plane of the covering portion. 
     
     
         6 . The lightweight tape dispenser of  claim 1 , wherein the support portion comprises an accommodating chamber that recesses towards the cutting portion for accommodating the covering portion at the second position.
