Abstract
A cylinder storage assembly includes a holder that may have a cylinder removably positioned thereon. The holder is positionable within a vehicle to prevent the cylinder from rolling around the vehicle while the vehicle is driven. A coupler is coupled to the holder to retain the cylinder on the holder. A stop is coupled to the holder to prevent the cylinder from sliding off of the holder.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modifiedI claim:
1 . A cylinder storage assembly configured to prevent a cylinder from rolling around while the cylinder is transported in a vehicle, said assembly comprising:
a holder being configured to have a cylinder removably positioned thereon, said holder being configured to be positionable within a vehicle, said holder preventing said cylinder from rolling around the vehicle while the vehicle is moving; a coupler coupled to said holder, said coupler being configured to retain the cylinder on said holder, a stop coupled to said holder, said stop being configured to prevent the cylinder from sliding off of said holder.
2 . The assembly according to claim 1 , wherein said holder comprises a panel having a primary end, a secondary end, a top side and a bottom side, said panel being elongated between said primary end and said secondary end, said bottom side being configured to abut a support surface within the vehicle.
3 . The assembly according to claim 2 , further comprising a receiver having a first side and a second side, said receiver being coupled to and extending upwardly from said top side, said receiver being positioned adjacent to said primary end such that said first side faces said primary end, said receiver having a well extending into said second side, said well being configured to insertably receiving a neck of the cylinder.
4 . The assembly according to claim 3 , further comprising a saddle coupled to and extending upwardly from said top side, said saddle being positioned closer to said receiver than said secondary end, said saddle having a distal end with respect to said top side, said distal end having a first groove extending downwardly therein, said first groove being aligned with said well, said first groove being configured to support the cylinder.
5 . The assembly according to claim 1 , wherein:
said holder includes a saddle; and said coupler comprises a support coupled to and extending upwardly from said top side, said support being positioned closer to said second end than said saddle, said support having a distal end with respect to said top side, said distal end of said support having a second groove extending downwardly therein, said second groove being configured to have the cylinder positioned therein.
6 . The assembly according to claim 5 , further comprising a strap coupled to said holder, said strap having a break therein to define a free end of a first portion and a free end of a second portion, each of said first portion and said second portion being positioned on said second support, each of said first portion and said second portion being configured to be wrapped around the cylinder, said free end of each of first portion and said second portion being matable such that said strap retains the cylinder on said support.
7 . The assembly according to claim 6 , wherein said stop has a front side, said stop being coupled to and extending upwardly from said top side, said stop being positioned between said support and said secondary end such that said front side faces said support, said front side being configured to abut the cylinder when the cylinder is positioned within said receiver, said stop preventing the cylinder from sliding rearwardly with respect to said receiver.
8 . A cylinder storage assembly configured to prevent a cylinder from rolling around while the cylinder is transported in a vehicle, said assembly comprising:
a holder being configured to have a cylinder removably positioned thereon, said holder being configured to be positionable within a vehicle, said holder preventing said cylinder from rolling around the vehicle while the vehicle is moving, said holder comprising:
a panel having a primary end, a secondary end, a top side and a bottom side, said panel being elongated between said primary end and said secondary end, said bottom side being configured to abut a support surface within the vehicle;
a receiver having a first side and a second side, said receiver being coupled to and extending upwardly from said top side, said receiver being positioned adjacent to said primary end such that said first side faces said primary end, said receiver having a well extending into said second side, said well being configured to insertably receiving a neck of the cylinder;
a saddle coupled to and extending upwardly from said top side, said saddle being positioned closer to said receiver than said secondary end, said saddle having a distal end with respect to said top side, said distal end having a first groove extending downwardly therein, said first groove being aligned with said well, said first groove being configured to support the cylinder;
a coupler coupled to said holder, said coupler being configured to retain the cylinder on said holder, said coupler comprising:
a support coupled to and extending upwardly from said top side, said support being positioned closer to said second end than said saddle, said support having a distal end with respect to said top side, said distal end of said support having a second groove extending downwardly therein, said second groove being configured to have the cylinder positioned therein; and
a strap coupled to said support, said strap having a break therein to define a free end of a first portion and a free end of a second portion, each of said first portion and said second portion being positioned on said support, each of said first portion and said second portion being configured to be wrapped around the cylinder, said free end of each of first portion and said second portion being matable such that said strap retains the cylinder on said support; and
a stop having a front side, said stop being coupled to and extending upwardly from said top side, said stop being positioned between said support and said secondary end such that said front side faces said support, said front side being configured to abut the cylinder when the cylinder is positioned within said receiver, said stop preventing the cylinder from sliding rearwardly with respect to said receiver.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
