Vaporizing device outer lid and basket assembly

Abstract

An outer lid and basket assembly for use with a vaporizing device is provided herein, the assembly comprises a basket, further comprising a vented compartment and lateral rails; and an outer lid configured to replace the lid of the vaporizing device, wherein said outer lid further comprises a track for slidably receiving the lateral rails of the basket, and wherein the vented compartment of the basket is sized to fit within the heating chamber of a vaporizer.

What is claimed is: 
     
         1 . An outer lid and basket assembly for use with a vaporizing device having a lid, comprising:
 A basket, further comprising a vented compartment and lateral rails; and   An outer lid configured to replace the lid of the vaporizing device, wherein said outer lid further comprises a track for slidably receiving the lateral rails of the basket, wherein said vented compartment of the basket is sized to fit within the heating chamber of a vaporizer.   
     
     
         2 . The outer lid and basket assembly of  claim 1 , wherein said basket further comprises a basket lid. 
     
     
         3 . The outer lid and basket assembly of  claim 1 , wherein said vented compartment comprises metal mesh. 
     
     
         4 . The outer lid and basket assembly of  claim 1 , wherein said outer lid comprises two or more magnets configured to removably attach said lid to the vaporing device. 
     
     
         5 . The outer lid and basket assembly of  claim 4 , wherein said outer lid comprises a handle. 
     
     
         6 . The outer lid and basket assembly of  claim 5 , wherein said outer lid further comprises a recessed surface, and wherein said handle is attached to the outer lid in the recessed portion of the outer lid. 
     
     
         7 . The outer lid and basket assembly of  claim 2 , wherein said basket lid further comprises a snap closure. 
     
     
         8 . The outer lid and basket assembly of  claim 1 , wherein said basket lid is attached to said basket with a hinge, and wherein said basket lid further comprises a snap closure. 
     
     
         9 . An outer lid and basket assembly for use with a vaporizing device having a lid, comprising:
 A basket comprising a vented compartment, a basket lid, and lateral rails; and   An outer lid configured to replace the lid of the vaporizing device, said outer lid further comprising a track for slidably receiving the lateral rails of the basket, wherein said vented compartment of the basket is sized to fit within the storage chamber of a vaporizing device and further comprises an electronic heating element configured to contact electrical contact points within the vaporizing device.   
     
     
         10 . The outer lid and basket assembly for use with a vaporizing device having a lid of  claim 9 , wherein said outer lid comprises two or more magnets configured to removably attach said lid to the vaporing device. 
     
     
         11 . The outer lid and basket assembly for use with a vaporizing device having a lid of  claim 9 , wherein said vented compartment comprises metal mesh. 
     
     
         12 . The outer lid and basket assembly for use with a vaporizing device having a lid of  claim 9 , wherein said outer lid comprises a handle for detaching said lid to the vaporing device. 
     
     
         13 . The outer lid and basket assembly for use with a vaporizing device having a lid of  claim 12 , wherein said outer lid further comprises a recessed surface, and wherein said handle is attached to the outer lid in the recessed portion of the outer lid. 
     
     
         14 . The outer lid and basket assembly for use with a vaporizing device having a lid of  claim 9 , wherein said basket lid further comprises a snap closure. 
     
     
         15 . The outer lid and basket assembly for use with a vaporizing device having a lid of  claim 9 , wherein said basket lid is attached to said basket with a hinge, and wherein said basket lid further comprises a snap closure. 
     
     
         16 . A kit, comprising two or more interchangeable baskets, each basket having a vented compartment sized to fit within the heating chamber of a vaporizer and lateral rails; and an outer lid for use with a vaporizing device having a lid, wherein said outer lid further comprises a track for slidably receiving the lateral rails of the baskets such that the vented compartment of the baskets contact the heating element of the vaporizing device when the outer lid is engaged with the vaporizing device.
