Display package

Abstract

A display package which has a box provided with a foldable lid which is joined articulatedly to the upper edge of a functional wall of the lateral walls. The lid has at least one fold line, parallel to the upper edge, which determines a first area of the lid provided with a perpendicular flange which, in the closed position thereof, partially covers the laterals of the box externally; and in that in the assembled position of the display package, the fold line is applied on the lower edge of the functional wall, thereby allowing the cited first area of the lid to be applied against the bottom of the box, folded around the fold line, the edges of the flange forming a stable support for the box uncovered in the manner of a display.

A display package which comprises a box with a bottom and lateral walls adapted for containing products and displaying them, said box being provided with a foldable lid which covers the box in a closed position and which uncovers the box in an assembled position of the display package, the lid being articulatedly joined to the upper edge of a functional wall of the lateral walls, characterized in that
 the lid comprises at least one fold line, parallel to said upper edge, which determines a first area of the lid provided with a perpendicular flange which, in the closed position thereof, partially covers the laterals of the box externally; and in that   in the assembled position of the display package, the fold line is applied on the lower edge of the functional wall, thereby allowing the cited first area of the lid to be applied against the bottom of the box, folded around said fold line, the edges of the flange forming a stable support for the box uncovered in the manner of a display.

The display package according to  claim 1 , wherein -flange ends, at each side of the lid, on both edges which extend inclined at an angle from the fold line, these edges in the assembled position of the display package determining respective support bases for the box on a floor, the box being inclined at the same angle with respect to the floor.

The display package according to  claim 2 , wherein the lid also comprises an intermediate fold line between the upper edge of the functional wall and the fold line, parallel to both, which determines, at one intermediate fold line side, a second intermediate area of the lid and, at the other intermediate fold line side, a third lid area adjacent to the upper edge, the second and third areas of the lid and the functional wall in the assembled position of the display box configuring a foot with triangular section, with the edges of the flanges coplanar with the second area of the lid, said second area of the lid forming a support plane of the box. 
     
     
         4 . The display package according to  claim 3 , wherein the first area, the second area and the third area of the lid cover the box in the closed position. 
     
     
         5 . The display package according to  claim 1 , wherein the flange of the lid has lateral sections in the form of a trapezoid. 
     
     
         6 . The display package according to  claim 5 , wherein the lateral sections form a rectangular trapezoid. 
     
     
         7 . The display package according to  claim 1 , wherein the flange of the lid surrounds the first area of the lid. 
     
     
         8 . The display package according to  claim 1 , wherein, in the closed position, the package is a parallelepiped. 
     
     
         9 . The display package according to  claim 8 , wherein, in the closed position, the package is a cuboid. 
     
     
         10 . The display package according to  claim 8 , wherein, in the closed position, the lid is one of the faces of the parallelepiped. 
     
     
         11 . The display package according to  claim 1 , wherein the box comprises shelves arranged parallel to the functional wall. 
     
     
         12 . The display package according to  claim 11 , wherein the shelves divide the interior of the box into equal enclosures. 
     
     
         13 . The display package according to  claim 11 , wherein the shelves join lateral walls parallel to each other. 
     
     
         14 . The display package according to  claim 1 , the display package manufactured in cardboard.
