Abstract

The present invention concerns a method for treating or preparing a grindstone surface. The method is characterized in that a laser beam is used comprising the use of a laser beam.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
1 . A method for treating or preparing a grindstone surface, comprising treating or preparing the grindstone surface with a laser beam.

2 . The method according to claim 1 , wherein the laser beam engraves a grit pattern on the grindstone surface.

3 . The method according to claim 2 , wherein the laser beam creates a sharp pattern for optimizing grinding performance.

4 . The method according to claim 2 , wherein the laser beam reduces grinding energy.

5 . The method according to claim 1 , wherein the method further comprises the step of adjusting the energy of the laser beam, such that, selectively cleaning of grooves from fibers or resins is enabled.

6 . The method according to claim 1 , wherein the method further comprises the step of adjusting the energy of the laser beam, such that, part of resins is removed to get grit more protruding.

7 . The method according to claim 1 , wherein the laser beam smoothens lands.

8 . The method according to claim 1 , wherein the laser beam creates microstructure.

9 . The method according to claim 1 , wherein the laser beam fuses proppant on the grinding surface.

10 . The method according to claim 9 , wherein the propellant etches the grinding surface.

11 . The method according to claim 1 , wherein the laser beam sinters the surface.

12 . The method according to claim 11 , wherein the sintering creates a pattern with different functionalities.
