Abstract

A cellular phone body mounting device mounts a cellular phone on an extremity of a person. The device includes an elongated base and a plurality of straps extending between opposed lateral sides of the base such that the straps are configured for securing the base to an extremity of a human. A socket is positioned on an upper face of the base. A case is configured for coupling to a cellular phone. A connector coupled to the base defines a lip insertable into the socket such that the connector is removably engaged to the base.

I claim:

1 . A cellular phone body mounting device comprising:
a base, said base being elongated; a plurality of straps, each of said straps extending between opposed lateral sides of said base such that said straps are configured for securing said base to an extremity of a human; a socket coupled to said base, said socket being positioned on an upper face of said base; a case, said case being configured for coupling to a cellular phone; and a connector coupled to said case, said connector defining a lip insertable into said socket such that said connector is removably engaged to said base.

2 . The device of claim 1 , further comprising:
said case having a planar back face; and said lip being positioned in spaced parallel relationship to said planar back face of said case.

3 . The device of claim 1 , further comprising said base having a first end opposite a second end, said lateral sides of said base extending between said first end and said second end, said first end having a medial portion and angled outer portions such that said first end tapers extending from each of said lateral sides towards said medial portion of said first end.

4 . The device of claim 3 , further comprising said second end having a middle section and a pair of angled outer sections such that said second end tapers extending from each of said lateral sides towards said middle section of said second end

5 . The device of claim 1 , further comprising:
each of said straps having a respective break therein wherein each said strap comprises a respective first section and a respective second section; and a plurality of couplers, each of said couplers being coupled to an associated one of said straps wherein said first section of said associated strap is engageable to said second section of said associated strap forming a loop with said base.

6 . The device of claim 5 , further comprising each said coupler being a ring coupled to said first section of said associated strap and hook and loop fastener coupled to said second section of said associated strap.

7 . The device of claim 1 , further comprising said socket having a back panel, a front panel, and an outer wall extending between said back panel and said front panel, said front panel being spaced from said back panel such that said lip is insertable between said front panel and said back panel.

8 . The device of claim 7 , further comprising said lip being circular extending outwardly around a post section of said connector.

9 . The device of claim 8 , further comprising said front panel having an arcuate edge, said arcuate edge abutting said post section of said connector when said lip is engaged to said socket.

10 . The device of claim 1 , further comprising a brace, said brace being elongated, said brace extending between said first end and said second end of said base.

11 . The device of claim 10 , further comprising said brace extending between said medial portion of said first end and said middle section of said second end.

12 . The device of claim 10 , further comprising said base being flexible wherein said base is configured to conform to a shape of the human extremity, said socket being statically positioned on said brace.

13 . A cellular phone body mounting device comprising:
a base, said base being elongated, said base having a first end opposite a second end, said lateral sides of said base extending between said first end and said second end, said first end having a medial portion and angled outer portions such that said first end tapers extending from each of said lateral sides towards said medial portion of said first end, said second end having a middle section and a pair of angled outer sections such that said second end tapers extending from each of said lateral sides towards said middle section of said second end; a plurality of straps, each of said straps extending between opposed lateral sides of said base such that said straps are configured for securing said base to an extremity of a human, each of said straps having a respective break therein wherein each said strap comprises a respective first section and a respective second section; a plurality of couplers, each of said couplers being coupled to an associated one of said straps wherein said first section of said associated strap is engageable to said second section of said associated strap forming a loop with said base, each said coupler being a ring coupled to said first section of said associated strap and hook and loop fastener coupled to said second section of said associated strap; a socket coupled to said base, said socket being positioned on an upper face of said base, said socket having a back panel, a front panel, and an outer wall extending between said back panel and said front panel, said front panel being spaced from said back panel, said front panel having an arcuate edge; a case, said case being configured for coupling to a cellular phone, said case having a planar back face; a connector coupled to said case, said connector defining a lip insertable into said socket such that said connector is removably engaged to said base, said lip is insertable between said front panel and said back panel, said lip being positioned in spaced parallel relationship to said planar back face of said case, said lip being circular extending outwardly around a post section of said connector, said arcuate edge abutting said post section of said connector when said lip is engaged to said socket; and a brace, said brace being elongated, said brace extending between said first end and said second end of said base, said brace extending between said medial portion of said first end and said middle section of said second end, said base being flexible wherein said base is configured to conform to a shape of the human extremity, said socket being statically positioned on said brace.
