19 . The method of claim 18 , wherein providing the information comprises:
using, by the computing system, at least one of a user preference, a purchase history of the user, a viewing history of the user, or a popularity of a video content item to generate a list of recommended television channels; and providing, by the computing system, the generated list of recommended television channels.

20 . The method of claim 18 , further comprising providing, by the computing system, a plurality of promotional video trailers indicative of one or more television channels of the plurality of television channels.

21 . The method of claim 18 , further comprising providing, by the computing system, a purchase price for the selected at least one video content package, wherein the purchase price is dynamically updated based on the received selection of the at least one video content package.

22 . The method of claim 18 , wherein performing the action that facilitates providing access to the television channels of the selected at least one video content package comprises associating the television channels of the selected at least one video content package with a user account.

23 . The method of claim 22 , further comprising:
receiving, by the computing system, payment information; associating, by the computing system, the payment information with the user account; and charging, by the computing system, the user account using the payment information.

24 . The method of claim 23 , further comprising providing, by the computing system, a list of purchased television channels.

25 . A computing system configured for performing a set of acts comprising:
providing, by a computing system, information identifying a plurality of television channels broadcast by a plurality of television providers; receiving, by the computing system, a selection of one or more of the television channels; responsive to receiving the selection of the one or more television channels, (i) generating, by the computing system, a list of one or more video content packages that include the selected television channels and (ii) providing, by the computing system, the generated list; receiving, by the computing system, a selection of at least one of the video content packages; and responsive to receiving the selection of the at least one of the video content packages, performing, by the computing system, an action that facilitates providing access to the television channels of the selected at least one video content package.

26 . The computing system of claim 25 , wherein the act of providing the information comprises:
using, by the computing system, at least one of a user preference, a purchase history of the user, a viewing history of the user, or a popularity of a video content item to generate a list of recommended television channels; and providing, by the computing system, the generated list of recommended television channels.

27 . The computing system of claim 25 , the set of acts further comprising:
providing, by the computing system, a plurality of promotional video trailers indicative of one or more television channels of the plurality of television channels.

28 . The computing system of claim 25 , the set of acts further comprising:
providing, by the computing system, a purchase price for the selected at least one video content package, wherein the purchase price is dynamically updated based on the received selection of the at least one video content package.

29 . The computing system of claim 25 , wherein the act of performing the action that facilitates providing access to the television channels of the selected at least one video content package comprises associating the television channels of the selected at least one video content package with a user account.

30 . The computing system of claim 29 , the set of acts further comprising:
receiving, by the computing system, payment information; associating, by the computing system, the payment information with the user account; and charging, by the computing system, the user account using the payment information.

31 . The computing system of claim 30 , the set of acts further comprising:
providing, by the computing system, a list of purchased television channels.

32 . A non-transitory computer-readable medium having stored thereon program instructions that upon execution by a processor, cause performance of a set of acts comprising:
providing, by a computing system, information identifying a plurality of television channels broadcast by a plurality of television providers; receiving, by the computing system, a selection of one or more of the television channels; responsive to receiving the selection of the one or more television channels, (i) generating, by the computing system, a list of one or more video content packages that include the selected television channels and (ii) providing, by the computing system, the generated list; receiving, by the computing system, a selection of at least one of the video content packages; and responsive to receiving the selection of the at least one of the video content packages, performing, by the computing system, an action that facilitates providing access to the television channels of the selected at least one video content package.

33 . The non-transitory computer-readable medium of claim 32 , wherein the act of providing the information comprises:
using, by the computing system, at least one of a user preference, a purchase history of the user, a viewing history of the user, or a popularity of a video content item to generate a list of recommended television channels; and providing, by the computing system, the generated list of recommended television channels.

34 . The non-transitory computer-readable medium of claim 32 , the set of acts further comprising:
providing, by the computing system, a plurality of promotional video trailers indicative of one or more television channels of the plurality of television channels.

35 . The non-transitory computer-readable medium of claim 32 , the set of acts further comprising:
providing, by the computing system, a purchase price for the selected at least one video content package, wherein the purchase price is dynamically updated based on the received selection of the at least one video content package.

36 . The non-transitory computer-readable medium of claim 32 , wherein the act of performing the action that facilitates providing access to the television channels of the selected at least one video content package comprises associating the television channels of the selected at least one video content package with a user account.
