Moisture Absorbent Headband

Abstract

An absorbent headband for absorbing sweat from the head of the wearer. The absorbent headband includes a loop of material having an elastic portion connecting opposing ends thereof. The loop of material includes an outer surface having a logo attached thereto and an inner surface comprising an absorbent material that contacts the head of a wearer and absorbs sweat therefrom. The elastic portion is disposed on a rear portion of the headband and is shorter than the overall length of the headband, which allows the headband to be securable to a wearer's head without exerting excessive pressure around the circumference of the head.

I claim: 
     
         1 ) An absorbent headband comprising:
 a length of fabric having an outer surface, an inner surface, and opposing ends;   an absorbent material disposed on the inner surface of the length of fabric;   a logo disposed on the outer surface of the length of fabric; and   an elastic portion;   wherein the length of elastic material connects the opposing ends of the length of fabric so as to form a loop dimensioned to encircle a wearer's head.   
     
     
         2 ) The absorbent headband of  claim 1 , wherein the length of the elastic portion is less than the circumference of the headband. 
     
     
         3 ) The absorbent headband of  claim 1 , wherein the elastic material is secured to the length of fabric via stitching. 
     
     
         4 ) The absorbent headband of  claim 1 , wherein the logo comprises indicia thereon. 
     
     
         5 ) The absorbent headband of  claim 1 , wherein the logo is permanently attached to the length of fabric. 
     
     
         6 ) The absorbent headband of  claim 1 , wherein the logo is removably attached to the length of fabric via one or more fasteners. 
     
     
         7 ) The absorbent headband of  claim 6 , wherein the one or more fasteners comprises hook and loop fasteners.
