Abstract
A non-transitory processor-readable medium stores code representing instructions configured to cause a processor to send a first signal to cause a client device to display an instruction directing a user to perform a task associated with a user profile of an online entity. The code is configured to cause the processor to produce a query formatted according to an API associated with the online entity. The code is configured to cause the processor to send a second signal including the query to at least one of the client device or the online entity, and receive a third signal including a datum associated with the task. The code is configured to cause the processor to update a status of the indicated task based on the datum, and send a fourth signal to cause the client device to produce an indication associated with the status of the task.

A method for providing assistance with respect to the use of online content provided over at least one network by an online entity, the online content being displayed via a browser executing on a user device connected to the at least one network, the method comprising:
providing, by at least one computer connected to the at least one network, training information for presentation as an overlay on at least a portion of the online content being displayed via the browser, the training information providing information regarding the use of the online content being displayed.
2 . The method of claim 1 , further comprising:
receiving information that the user has caused the training information to be provided; and storing an indication that the training information has been presented to the user via the browser.
3 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the training information comprises instruction to the user to perform at least one action in connection with the online content, the method further comprising receiving information indicating whether the user has performed the at least one action.
4 . The method of claim 1 , further comprising receiving input from the user via the overlay.
5 . The method of claim 4 , wherein receiving input from the user via the overlay comprises receiving an indication from the user, via the overlay, that the user has performed at least one action in connection with the online content.
6 . The method of claim 3 , wherein receiving information indicating whether the user has performed the at least one action comprises querying the online entity regarding the at least one action.
7 . The method of claim 6 , wherein receiving information indicating whether the user has performed the at least one action comprises obtaining information from the online entity as to whether the user performed the at least one action.
8 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the training information is provided by a third-party separate from the online entity.
9 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the online entity is a social network entity and/or a business network entity.
10 . The method of claim 2 , wherein the user has a user profile associated with the online entity, the method further comprising updating a status associated with the user profile when it is determined that the training information has been presented to the user.
11 . The method of claim 3 , wherein the user has a user profile associated with the online entity, the method further comprising updating a status associated with the user profile when it is determined that the user performed the at least one action.
12 . The method of claim 11 , wherein the user is given a ranking based, at least in part, on having performed the at least one action.
13 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the overlay comprises text, graphics and/or sound.
14 . At least one computer readable medium storing instructions that, when executed by at least one processor, causes the at least one processor to perform a method of providing assistance with respect to the use of online content provided over at least one network by an online entity, the online content being displayed via a browser executing on a user device connected to the at least one network, the method comprising:
providing, via the at least one network, training information for presentation as an overlay on at least a portion of the online content being displayed via the browser, the training information providing information regarding the use of the online content being displayed.

At least one computer connected to at least one network and configured to provide assistance in using online content provided over the at least one network by an online entity, the online content being displayed via a browser executing on a user device connected to the at least one network, the at least one computer comprising:

provide, via the at least one network, training information for presentation as an overlay on at least a portion of the online content being displayed via the browser, the training information providing information regarding the use of the online content being displayed.
28 . The at least one computer of claim 27 , wherein the at least one processor is programmed to receive information that the user has caused the training information to be provided and store an indication that the training information has been presented to the user via the browser.

The at least one computer of claim 27 , wherein the training information comprises instruction to the user to perform at least one action in connection with the online content, and wherein the at least one processor is programmed to receive information indicating whether the user has performed the at least one action.
30 . The at least one computer of claim 27 , wherein the at least one processor is programmed to receive input from the user via the overlay.
31 . The at least one computer of claim 30 , wherein the at least one processor is programmed to receive an indication from the user, via the overlay, that the user has performed at least one action in connection with the online content.
