Abstract

The portable salon system is a salon system which is able to be quickly and efficiently set up in the residence of a hairstylist or a client of a hairstylist. The portable salon system includes a hydraulic chair, a sink base cabinet and a workstation which are positioned on a personal floor space designated area for the hairstylist to perform their trade. A shampoo sink is mounted onto the sink base cabinet to allow the hairstylist to wash and prepare a client's hair for the styling procedure. The client positions themselves in the hydraulic chair to allow the hairstylist to maneuver around as well as raise and lower the client in order to comfortably manipulate the client's hair. The workstation provides storage as well as a surface for hair care products to be placed between uses or stored when the hair styling procedure is complete.
