Abstract

A delivery service system includes a cabinet having a plurality of controlled-access storage cells, located in a plurality of zones, a user interface, a user evaluation device, and a processor. The system receives a user request to accept an item for delivery, detects user physical characteristics, and provides user access to a storage cell in a selected zone, the zone being selected based on the detected user physical characteristics.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
1 - 38 . (canceled).

         39 . A delivery system, comprising:
 a cabinet including:
a first plurality of storage cells; and
 a plurality of zones, a zone in the plurality of zones being based on a height requirement for the zone and a width requirement for the zone, the zone including a second plurality of storage cells selected from the first plurality of storage cells;
a user evaluation device configured to detect at least one physical characteristic of a user; and a control processor configured to:
select a zone from the plurality of zones based on the at least one physical characteristic of the user; and
provide physical access to at least one cell located in the selected zone.

40 . The delivery system of claim 39 , wherein the control processor is further configured to dynamically select the second plurality of storage cells from the first plurality of storage cells based on the at least one physical characteristic.

41 . The delivery system of claim 40 , wherein
the height requirement includes a minimum height of the second plurality of storage cells above a base of the cabinet; and the control processor is further configured to select the minimum height based on the at least one physical characteristic.

42 . The delivery system of claim 39 , wherein the height requirement includes a maximum height of the second plurality of storage cells above a base of the cabinet.

43 . The delivery system of claim 42 , wherein the height requirement further includes a minimum height of the second plurality of storage cells above the base.

44 . The delivery system of claim 39 , wherein the width requirement further includes a maximum width reachable by the user.

45 . The delivery system of claim 39 , wherein the control processor is further configured to:
determine a maximum width reachable by the user based on the at least one physical characteristic; and dynamically select the second plurality of storage cells from the first plurality of storage cells based on the maximum width.

46 . The delivery system of claim 39 , further comprising an input device configured to receive input from the user, wherein the zone is a first zone and the control processor is further configured to select a second zone different from the first zone based on the input received from the user.

47 . The delivery system of claim 39 , wherein the second plurality of storage cells includes a plurality of cell sizes.

48 . A system for providing services to a user, comprising:
a detector configured to detect at least one physical characteristic of the user; a display device configured to display a user interface to the user, the user interface including a plurality of areas displaying information; and a processor configured to:
determine an arrangement of the areas on the user interface based on the at least one physical characteristic; and
generate commands to display the user interface with the determined arrangement of the areas on the display device.

49 . The system of claim 48 , wherein determining the arrangement of the areas includes determining relative positions of the areas on the user interface.

50 . The system of claim 48 , further including an input device configured to receive an input from the user, wherein the processor is further configured to:
determine a service requested by the user based on the input; and generate commands to an associated apparatus to provide the service.

51 . The system of claim 48 , wherein determining the arrangement of the areas includes determining vertical positions of the areas between a lower edge of the user interface and an upper edge of the user interface spaced apart from the lower edge.

52 . The system of claim 51 , wherein determining the arrangement of the areas includes determining horizontal positions of the areas between a left edge of the user interface and a right edge of the user interface spaced apart from the left edge, the left edge and the right edge extending between the lower edge and the upper edge.

53 . The system of claim 48 , wherein the areas include at least an application area configured to receive an input from the user, a marketing area configured to display marketing information to the user, and a help area configured to display help information to the user.

54 . The system of claim 53 , wherein the at least one physical characteristic is a height of the user and the processor is configured to
position the application area adjacent a lower edge of the user interface, position the marketing area adjacent an upper edge of the user interface spaced apart from the lower edge, and position the help area between the application area and the marketing area when the height is less than a first predetermined height.

55 . The system of claim 54 , wherein the processor is configured to position the application area adjacent the upper edge of the user interface when the height of the user exceeds a second predetermined height.

56 . The system of claim 55 , wherein the processor is configured to position the application area between the marketing area and the help area when the height of the user is between the first predetermined height and the second predetermined height.

         57 . The system of claim 56 , wherein
the detector is further configured to detect at least one of a noise and a movement of the user proximate the system, and the processor is further configured to determine an arrangement of the areas on the user interface based on the detected one of the noise or the movement.

58 . The system of claim 57 , wherein the processor is configured to generate a marketing message based on the detected movement, and display the marketing message in the marketing area.
